Relaxing place to visit either as a couple or with friends and family. The highlight is the Japanese gardens, with its Zen garden, symbolic mountains, waterfalls, lake and sea shoreline. The thoughtfully created landscaping encompasses a huge vista within a small space. Also within the Botanic Gardens precinct there is a sunken rose garden, a tree lined reflection pool, a... More

We visited as the roses were blooming. Spectacular colors and varieties. The garden also had some aussie animals and birds. Took some wonderful pictures.

Lovely place to visit with friends and family. They have Australian animals, rose garden, pond, barbecue area, parkland and recreational area. Good place to celebrate birthdays and wedding photoshoots. Best time to go is during spring or during the Japanese flower festival. Free for Auburn residents😊

This little known garden is an absolute delight. The day when I visited was very hot but the natural shade provided by the trees made it so much cooler. The variety of styles within the gardens made for a very different experience. The Japanese Gardens were a feast for the eyes and the ears, with the sound of running water... More

Peacock Gallery, Japanese Gardens, waterfall, Duck River Walkway and Bike Path. They also have Scented Garden-Wedding Pavilion. We saw Kangaroos and wallabies. There was so much best to visit and see it for yourself.

One of Australia's finest gardens includes a superb Japanese garden. And it's just a short distance from Sydney's centre. There is indeed more to Sydney than the harbour and its environs!

Pristine and calm this is a haven filled with Japanese gardens, peacocks, wallabies and emus. $4 entry fees for the main garden, also includes an aviary tour. Small scale allows persons with limited mobility to enjoy this as well. Nested in a diverse community of Turkish Vietnamese and Arab immigrants, not the typical touristy stereotypic Aussie image. It's a 30min... More

for those of you who know Sydney, Auburn is not a tourist destination. But this garden in the middle of this suburb is just amazing. it is a Japanese garden, a rose garden and an Aussie garden attached. we visited it in the winter, but it was still beautiful. they were also preparing for a dance festival the week after... One of the very few amusing and beautiful attraction-based areas in Sydney. You might like this more if you're into nature, but this place is still eye-catching and mesmeric to anyone who isn't into nature really. It's a very underrated attraction. I found it to be much more eye-opening and picturesque than the Sydney Botanical Gardens and pretty much any... More
