I'll make this short and sweet. Izzy and his son were amazing! They gave us a discovery dive tour that was very personal and amazing. They were thorough and friendly, and most of all patient. Really gave us the feeling of a first class dive. Will be back again!!

We did a scuba review with Izzy and it was very thorough. Next day we did 2 boat dives at Desecheo Island. The dive boat was good. Izzy was a great dive master. Lunch , snacks and drinks were all good. We highly recommend Taino. Rental dive gear was good. Rincon could do with a small boat pier/dock to make... More

The people at the shop were friendly. The prices were a bit high for snorkel gear rental. There are not many other options available though.

Taino diver is the only dive shop in Rincon that takes people out to Desecheo so that made our decision easy. We stopped by the dive shop the day before diving and the staff Dennis was very helpful with information on diving as well as local restaurants recommendations. The dive shop had a nice selection of quality items and also... More

Loved my scuba trip w/ Taino Divers out to Desecheo Island. The staff - Frank and Edwardo were the best - helpful, friendly and concerned we have a good time. I felt a little queasy after the first dive and planned to sit out the 2nd until they explained I would feel better below the surface rather than sitting in... More

The diving was ok BUT... don't rent equipment and if you do check it out before you leave. We rented equipment and my wife's BCD had a leak. The dive master blew it off. Also, don't believe it when they say they have a harbor for the boat. It hasn't been useable for years. They have the paying guests load... More

Sorry you had an issue with the BCD. We always bring extra BCD's and regulators on the boat just encase there are any issues. We have 20 sets of BCD's and regulators in our rental fleet which are being rented on a daily basis. At one point in time there will be some leaks because of high air pressure. Therefore,... More

I had a two tank morning dive booked to Desecheo Island and called to confirm the night before to make sure they were still chartering a boat there and was told yes. Drove three hours from Luquillo only to arrive and be told we were diving at a nearby reef instead because of a tropical wave that we should have... More

Had an amazing experience snorkeling off Desecheo Island with Taino Divers. The water was super clear and had a beautiful blue tint, the guide told us he refers to it as snorkeling in windex. The reef and fish off the island were stunning. I think he said it was about 45 ft deep where we were snorkeling and you could... More

My husband and I visit Rincon several times each year. During the summer of 2013, the guys at Taino Divers instructed us through our scuba certification. They were patient, thorough, and professional. The snorkeling and diving is stunning in Rincon, but the experience you get by heading out with the Taino team makes it an experience you will remember forever.... More
