I came with a group and we took the Sunset Boat Trip. We were beyond fortunate as we saw the whales while on the boat! It was incredible watching the gorgeous Rincon sunset and seeing the whales so close to the boat. Captain Carson is very safe and fun and we all had an incredible experience! I will be back... More

This was near the end of my trip to Puerto Rico and I hadn't been diving for two years. We left early in the morning, met around 7:30 and loaded the boats. Loading the boats as group is a great way to meet your crew and get things rolling fast. Izzy was the dive master on the boat. We took... More

Since they dont have a boat dock in Rincon all the dive boats must be anchored out and brought to the shore for loading. They have you form a "fire brigade" line on the beach into the water to help load all the gear on the boat. It was fun really and got your blood pumping a bit before the... More

Taino is clearly in control of providing good service and ultimately a memorable experience to their guests. Not just good guides that can handle a large group but also know the best spots and are great story tellers.

3 of us went on a fishing carter with Taino Divers, with Carson as the captain and Tim as the mate. Carson was very professional in explaining the security measures of the boat, and described very well the waters we went fishing and what we could fish. During the trip we saw many dolphins and turtles. However luck was not... More

We came to Rincon with a large group of family members for New Year's week. About 10 of us dive, and we were looking for a shop that could accommodate different skill and experience levels, from Dive Master to one just getting her certification that week. Taino was the perfect place. We dove two days, both near the shore of... More

We went with Taino and had a great day of scuba and snorkeling. I was already warned on the lame lunch/ snack from previous reviews. But it was worse than I thought imaginable. Funny thing is that they own a restaurant that's next door. It was macaroni w some carrot and red beans. Ewwww. We used it for fish food.... More

My husband and I visited Rincon while celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. We stayed at the Blue Boy Inn which was 3 buildings down from the Taino Divers. My husband and I really wanted to try scuba diving but had not had any previous experience. We were in luck when we stopped in at Taino's. Dennis signed us up for... More

This is by far the best dive in the island. Visibility was great (60 to 80 ft). From the boat we were able to see the bottom at 70ft. Water temperature was 82F during the winter. The only thing is that the travel time from the shop to the Desecheo island is 1 hr. But its a fun ride.
