I visited this resort in month of May with my wife and kid. The weather was awesome and we tried the scenic zip line to the top and it was fun.. my kid loved it most! The view was great from top where there was also a small restaurant. This is also great place for biking and hiking.

Just about 4 years ago we were on a ski vacation at Sunrise. The mountain is beautiful - far better than Snowbowl - and it was a perfect day. Then it all went to hell when someone on two ski's took my legs out from under me and nearly broke my neck. I guess he probably considered himself to be... More

Not too crowed but lifts need a bit of updating as well as lodge and ski rentals. You can still have a lot of fun.

One of the better ski areas in Arizona. Plenty of runs were open. Just wished there where more snow. The lodge had decent food but next time I'll probably bring my own lunch

For my birthday I took the family to sunrise ski park. We stayed at the closest resort to the slopes. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the acomadations, my wife is notoriously picky and I was expecting some push back but not a word. Although not new the facility was well kept and clean. We dined at the... More

It was fun with all the different activities even though I don't ski. But those that do ski were having a wonderful time.

My husband and 2 young boys, 3 and 6 yrs, recently stayed at the rv spots at the base of this park. Yesterday we went to the park, dropped off our boys at the childcare center and hit the slopes. My husband is a more seasoned skiier than I am and experienced more of the runs with satisfaction. I enjoyed... More

We checked the website before we drove the 4 hours from Phoenix and it said 65 out of 65 runs open and that they had a 19" base. When we arrived only around 25 runs where open and you could see rocks and such coming through the snow. The runs that where open where sheets of ice and very dangerous,... More

Twice as many runs as flagstaff. The back mountain is great for advanced beginners to intermediate skiers because the runs are nice and wide with a gradual descent. We love to drive up Sunday afternoon, stay the night in show low or pine top and ski on Monday. It's never crowded on weekdays. Bring your own food or grab a... More

We live in the Washington DC area and make one trip a year to AZ in Feb to visit family in Mesa and Show Low. We usually try to get one day of skiing in at Sunrise. I am a meteorologist so was a first highly skeptical that you could even ski the White Mountains given the infrequencey of snow... More
