This was an unexpected surprise! Burnbrae produces some superb wines and proprietor Andrew is now brewing beer which is comparable with other more famous boutique style beer. The wines and beer are both at very good prices. Well worth a visit to taste.

Great Sunday lunch place. Visit the cellar door and treat yourself to a delicious pizza, beer (and of course wine) on the deck, in the garden, under the trees or in the fun summerhouse. Lunch Sunday's only 12-3pm. The cellar door pet dog is always there to welcome you. Our new 'secret' place to take our visitors.

We had a tasting plate for lunch here with a wine tasting. A very relaxing way to have lunch on the verandah. Service was genuine and friendly and the wines were fa tasting. We left with more than a few bottles.

This had the most beautiful wines and lovely customer service! Must try the Bella Muscato and Botrytis Semillon 2011 and 2013. Will defiantly go back Had a look outside and so beautiful to have a wedding there :)

One of the few wineries towards the west of Mudgee but having interesting wines. For example, the parking area is adjacent to black muscat grapes that were planted in the late 60s. These are used to make the estate's Moscato as well as a Liqueur Muscat. The tasting room is in an old with wooden beams and floor that would... More

Burnbrae is a little out way west our of town but is well worth the trip. The cellar door is old and full of character with some historic things to look at. Their selection of wines is vast, we tried the majority and my pick is the sparkling, 2013 Clive Gale and the botrytis Semillion. They also have a large... More

These wines are always good. We were fortunate to have this winery 1st on the list and have never had a bad wine here. Purchased again and look forward to enjoying these wines with good food and friends, a must if you want to try great Mudgee wines.

This was the last stop on a self guided tour myself and four friends visited and it was defiantly the my pick of the lot. Trine was so welcoming and the wine was not bad either. Worth checking out.

We headed out here on Sunday morning especially as it had been recommended to us. It's worth the extra drive. The wines were all quite good and the shiraz in particular was the best I found in Mudgee. However, it was the service here that really set it apart. Andy and the team were very generous and laid back and... More
