When you're doing the circuit make sure you venture out west to Burnbrae it was our favourite winery on the trip. Most of the other cellar doors are north of the town but this one is worth the effort, truly beautiful wines.

this place was great with friendly staff and excellent award winning wines. The staff have a great knowledge of their product and are so welcoming. The cellar door is beautiful very country with great decorations and prizes all over. So worth the short drive from town and they do functions here as well and have a lovely little house for... More

My husband is currently working in Mudgee and he has raved about the wines in this region. I was fortunate to fly over for 4 days and on my 2nd day in Mudgee, he took me on a drive and we visited The Burnbrae Winery & Vineyard. We had no expectations and entered the tasting area with an open mind.... More

This visit we found the winery set up for an afternoon wedding. It looked fantastic - even a tv to keep an eye on the NRL Grand Final! Wines here are consistenyl good and have been that way for the 20+ years I have been visiting. A lovely place to taste wine and chat about where else to visit in... More

There were 14 of us so we booked in advance for their lunch. The service was fantastic didn't have to wait long even for the big group. Limited menu. They seem to be making renovations at the moment but will be great when completed. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful and seemed happy.

We really enjoyed our visit at burnbrae winery - was a very welcome cellar door on a cold rainy day in Mudgee. They had a great range of whites and reds, we were excited to find bold reds in NSW (we are a little disappointed in the Hunter's reds after moving there from Adelaide). We left with a dozen reds... Spent a lovely weekend in the two bedroom winemakers cottage at Burnbrae winery. It was the little things that make this accommodation special; the cheeseplatter on arrival with a ginger chutney made by Tony's wife, the views over the valley, the log fire, the breakfast selection including bacon and eggs, the emergency toiletries, the books, the character furniture and most... Every year we go to Mudgee, and one of the first stops is always Burnbrae! A smiling Jill will talk you through the different wines, and we always end up taking home a case or two - the only problem is deciding which ones! Chardonnay? Clive James? Get a mixed sample!
