Robert Stein produces a wide range of award winning, single vineyard wines, made solely from our 60 acre vineyard. Third Generation, Jacob Stein is at the helm as Winemaker with the quality of the wines being well recognized, winning the 'Most Successful Exhibitor' at the Mudgee Wine Show in 2014. Robert Stein Winery is also rated Red 5 Star by James Halliday, Australias most acclaimed wine critic. We visited here on a winery tour which was a fantastic day. Russell was our host at the winery and his humour and knowledge and zest for the wines and people made it a truly enjoyable visit. The motorbike museum on the premises is also well worth a visit for bike nut like me. I recommend a visit here for... More

Great wines, fantastic and knowledgeable service. Highly recommend - I cannot remember the lady's name but she made wine and the science behind it thoroughly enjoyable and interesting!

We stopped here for wine tasting. We were visiting on a Tuesday so unfortunately the restaurant was not offering degustation lunch. The staff were excellent and even assisted us with late lunch plans! This winery is worth a visit if you are in Mudgee.

I visited this family winery with my daughter and her partner. We had such attentive staff who knowledgably took us through their wines. Such a great tasting experience with first class service. the dogs were cute too and had to have numerous stick throwing moments. A very attractive winery in the middle of beautiful country side.

We got off to a slow start at the cellar door with too many people vying for attention, but I was able to give the dogs a good pat and once we got some attention, we ended up buying a case of wine - it was a pretty good range of not-heavy Mudgee reds

A really great experience where I learnt new things about the wines I like & how to recognise what I like. Really great service & quality wines. Recommend it highly. Property has great character with a motorbike museum also.

One of Mudgee's best winery. Not only wines but a museum for the boys and an EXCELLENT restaurant onsite. Reserve a table early as this places is constantly booked out. Excellent food and service. Nice staff also on the wine tasting cellar door. A favourite by all.

Beautiful wines, restaurant looked good although I didn't have time to eat. I did, however visit the motorcycle museum. So much history contained in photographs from the thirties through to the fifties when motorcycle racing was very popular in the western suburbs of Sydney, especially in Fairfield and Smithfield. Some beautiful old bikes and memorabilia.
