Old school winery with a touch of class

This is the oldest winery in Mudgee. A visit here can feel a bit 'old school' - as if you're visiting a respectable place where you may need a tie. Don't let this put you off. The... read more

This is the oldest winery in Mudgee. A visit here can feel a bit 'old school' - as if you're visiting a respectable place where you may need a tie. Don't let this put you off. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, even if you're wearing shorts. They're famous for their red wines, especially shiraz and cabernet sauvignon, which... More

Huntington Estate was a suggestion made by our tour guide. The wines were delicious, richer in style. The cellar door was warm from the roaring fireplace, there was a view through a gorgeous stained glass window out onto beautiful grounds. Knowledgeable, polite staff, great service.

I am sure this is a nice venue but I recently went to Huntington and mentioned I was specifically looking for a sparkling wine for an event and I was told that they do not open the sparkling wines for tasting. I left this winery and went to another that was more accommodating and bought 2 cases of lovely Mudgee... More

Great red wine is the main focus here, although the whites are good and the sparkling wine also worth tasting. They also sell jewellery by local designers, but the focus is on the wine (as it should be).

A small boutique winery that produces some great reds, I bought a few bottles here back in 2006, they cellared well & tasted great but I have drunk the last bottle so came back to re stock. Nothing special about the cellar door but the wines are good, my preference is the shiraz & cab sav, however they do make... More

The Reserves are exceptional and at a good price too. Ended up buying two cases. Their port is pretty good too.

Always stop here when we come to Mudgee. Still haven't made it to the music festival.....but that gives us another reason to come back.

I'm a hard marker but wine wise these are one of the best. A small boutique winery that makes some of Australia's best wines. Especially the reds but the whites are great too. I lived in Mudgee for about eight years about 25 years ago & always buy these wines. As a place to visit it is nothing special. Basically... More
