We were there on the Monday most people went back to work after Christmas and our cellar door host (Nikki - the Marketing lead) was lots of fun. Relaxed but extremely informative and we learnt both about Mudgee, the wines and the wine dinners they host in Melbourne, which we are looking forward to. definitely recommended

They were a bit busy for us as they had a music concert.... But really it's a big estate with equally big prices... Not too sure if it's justified ... But walked away only tasting a couple of wines and buying none! Found the young cellar attendant slightly pretentious.... More her manner than her words... Perhaps she will improve with... More

Visited this winery on Tuesday. Friendly staff, very welcoming, had a great knowledge of the wines and the local mudgee area. Would recommend, wont be disappointed.

Friendly staff! Delicious red wines! I loved shiraz and this was the perfect spot for wine tasting. Wines have really good rating from James Halliday and also good prices. I really recommend this winery in Mudgee! We bought 8 bottles to take to Sydney :D

Dropped in here on a recent visit to Mudgee. The visit was based on a james Halliday review (which isn't always a good idea). But James got Huntington Estate right. Our 'tasting supervisor' was a young lass called Courtney and she knew her wines. In fact, most of the Mudgee vineyards seemed to employ really knowledgeable young staff and that... More

We visited this vineyard on a cold winter's day and were welcomed by a roaring fire and warm tasting room. We enjoyed the wine and our discussions with the staff member on duty. We bought a dozen wines and joined the wine club.

This is the oldest winery in Mudgee. A visit here can feel a bit 'old school' - as if you're visiting a respectable place where you may need a tie. Don't let this put you off. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, even if you're wearing shorts. They're famous for their red wines, especially shiraz and cabernet sauvignon, which... More

Huntington Estate was a suggestion made by our tour guide. The wines were delicious, richer in style. The cellar door was warm from the roaring fireplace, there was a view through a gorgeous stained glass window out onto beautiful grounds. Knowledgeable, polite staff, great service.

I am sure this is a nice venue but I recently went to Huntington and mentioned I was specifically looking for a sparkling wine for an event and I was told that they do not open the sparkling wines for tasting. I left this winery and went to another that was more accommodating and bought 2 cases of lovely Mudgee... More
