This is a very busy place for you to freely roam around. Ensure men where a t-shirt at least (no bare chests), and women must cover your shoulders (suggest a light cardigan), in order to gain entry. There are a limited supply of gowns that will be offered when available, but remember that they will have been worn by others... More

Right in the middle of ayia napa is the monastery, which is well worth a visit. Free to visit, best in the morning before revellers get up. The courtyard and church are peaceful and lovely, with a small cafe where helpful staff served refreshments. There is also a shop selling beautiful icons.

The church next to the monastery was beautiful... Though I have visited many monasteries in Europe which have expressed more culture and history.

Whilst walking through Ayia Napa we came across the Monastery right next to all the night clubs looks a bit out of place but a pleasant find. Lots of history well worth a look.

If you are craving some intellectual sanity, this is the place. The quiet Byzantine and Gothic architecture sits quietly in the middle of Agia Napa proper. Big shady trees are lovely to walk under that dot the precinct. Beautifully maintained Byzantine site.

Beautiful tranquil oasis, in the middle of Ayia napa, a stones throw away from the famous night life. Sat for a while and enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere, the beautiful modern church at the end of the square is worth a visit too.
