The course was in fantastic condition but no longer the challenge of the original lay out. Open fairways with little thought required from the tee.

Been playing this course for 25 years ... last year they closed it and gave it a major make over. The make over has made the course easier.. maybe that was the plan ... so you could get even more players through... The first dog leg is smoothed out and the annoying trees on the left removed. The second, a... More

The general format will be similar to those who have played it before, but now the grass is lush and there is more water. Good test of your skills, certainly tested mine. Watch out when you cross the roads and keep your ball out of the long love grass cos you can't retrieve it. Don't expect a cheap round on... More

This was once a shorter but tricky neighbour to the South but an alleged €25 million on and all they've done is tame and spoil it. Yes there is new water & certainly shaped greens but the fairways are now so wide you could land a jet on most of them. Sadly it's all to easy to just reach for... More

Played following opening on !st Oct, very impressed with many new holes created but still a 'walking' slog and buggy tracks too far from many fairways to justify their expense!

We played in some terrible rain and thought the course would be waterlogged, but only twice was there any standing water on the fairways and never in greens or bunkers. It was quite expensive, but probably worth it as the course changes have made the course both much better and probably easier. It is a stunning looking course.

Really stunning lay out, extreamly well maintained. A bit slow round, everyone wanted to play the cource since just opened after the long term upgrade project. ( perhaps too many groups booked). My hushand said that perhaps even quite easy cource to play. The South is definitely much more challenging. North definitely worth to play, enjoy! Br, jaana

Under re construction at presente. Always a great course and i am sure will be even better when it reopens later this year. New greens and bunkers look good.

We played the South and was as good as ever. I look forward to the new North when ready. We have never been dissapointed at Quinta do Largo but Larangal is not as good but in good condition.
