When the wind and wave conditions don't make it the perfect pleasurable swimming experience, you can bet the sheltered North-facing Noosa main beach will deliver. So popular with both locals and visitors in-the-know, this truly is a blessed little spot!

Ha! arrived here from winters snowy Mansfield near Mt Buller where the puddles freeze. The sun was out and a slight cool breeze blowing but keepers this is one nice beach to visit. Great Boardwalk along the side. Restaurants and bars too but also plenty of quiet areas to be away from the crowds.

Noosa main beach is by far one of the most beautiful beach I've visited in my life! The beach is really long so even if it's crowded it doesn't feel like it is. A nice spot the relax and enjoy the australian sun!

Popular beach, North facing, so it is relatively sheltered and safe Nice sand and a boardwalk. Right next to all the shops and restaurants of Hastings street.

Lots of people about day & night enjoying the great walkways & fabulous shops & eateries. Not just a place for young people either & we enjoyed just browsing.

don't have to sell this area at all. We walked from our hotel at the Noosa Woods end of town along the boardwalk to the surf club. The beach was packed, with sunbakers, surfers & swimmers. Perfect weather for a end of June weekend. A sandcastle 'artist' was enthralling adults & children building a huge sand castle. Bikini clad lady... More
