As beaches go, this must be up there with the best. The sort of beach for which Australia is famous. Very clean and tidied by sand vehicles in the morning, it is well marshalled by lifeguards and the sand looks beautiful in quality. There is a boardwalk to let you get across the back of the beach without going through... More

We spent several days here in November. It was a great spot for families and convenient to shops and the Surf Club, which has a good restaurant. I can see how it would get very crowded in the peak of summer or holidays. Parking was still difficult even though we came early in the day since it was hot and... More

Love the Beach it is so clean and the water is a good temperature to swim, we like to go down in the morning before it gets too hot and the wind picks up.

Got to be the Best Beach that I have ever been to. Not too crowded, great surf, extremely well patrolled(between the flags), top notch information from the lifeguards regarding surf conditions nothing negative to say at all. If safe bathing, surf and fun is what you want. This is the place.

The water was warm, beach was clean and safely guarded. We hired boogie boards for $10 a day from the surf shop on Hastinigs Street and we had so much fun in the surf! A great day.

Lovely big beach, not many people around and you can even get a massage there and just a few steps away from some very cook bars

Beautiful beach with sand like sugar. We watched the surf club training their young lifeguards: it was a revelation to watch these boys and girls handling their long boards through surf with such dedication so that they would be capable of saving lives. The whole beach area is idyllic.

A sheltered beach with a lovely family vibe.Gentle water and soft clean sand, unusual in that accommodation is directly on the beach with no busy road between.Crowded in summer but friendly and relaxing.

This is a great beach for basking in the sun, wading, swimming, and surfing. There are life guards on duty and surf boards for rent!
