We have normally gone to Noosa in Sept-Oct but this year due to our daughter's studies we went earlier in June. I was worried it would be too cold an although it was cooler than Sept it was also less humid and the big bonus was almost no wind. It was absolutely gorgeous. My daughter and I had a massage... plenty of space - beautiful beach. Easy to find space by yourself and there is a little café that you can get good snacks from if you want.

What a lovely place. The sand is clean and at one end there is a national park where if you are lucky you may see some animals. We saw a possum, so cute. Behind the beach is Hastings Street with coffee shops and boutique shops, every girl will love it :)

World re-known Noosa Main Beach lives up to its status as one of the most popular beaches in Australia. It is a sheltered beach and has a wonderful, scenic cliff walk at one end. Restaurants and cafes on Hastings Street look out across the sparkling waters. Call into the Surf Life Saving Club with a view where visitors are welcome.

Noosa beach is an iconic Queensland and Australian beach. In spite of its upmarket image, we ordinary mortals can still have a good time there. Staying there is expensive enough in peak seasons but not always. Eating there is only expensive for the finer dining options. The surf club will always be busy so if you want a seat get... More

Main beach is right in the middle of Noosa. It's on Hasting street which is where the shops, restaurants and cafes are.. It is very touristy and up-market in places, so if your staying in the middle of town go with deep pockets. The beach was very mellow the day I went there and there were lots of swimmers out.... We took a stroll along Noosa Main beach, as it was overcast there were not may people on it. There was a wedding on the beach also saw wild turkeys walking around.

This is a magnificent beach with something for everyone. Stroll the boardwalk and take in the sights. Boogie board or body surf the waves or head for the various surfing points with a longboard. Sensational scenery and with a few cafes along the boardwalk plus the iconic Surf Club if you are not satisfied then you are too fussy. We... More

This is why you come to Noosa for it's beach as much as anything else. It was much like the beach in Surfers at the end of Cavill Ave. Plenty of action here and good patrols for safety.

With the National park to the south and the coastline to the north and of course the expensive apartments and boutiques along Hastings Street this is the best place north of Brisbane. The beach extends to the entrance to the Noosa River and the park at the end of Hastings Street and is a must do walk.
