A walk along this fine beach is a wonderful way to slow down and enjoy life. There are always people sunbaking, playing, walking, surfing and swimming. If you are lucky, you may get to see dolphins surfing and playing too.

Great location, close to the national park and Hastings street which has lovely shops and places to eat. Parking was a bit difficult because it gets really busy.

Really gorgeous beach, spotlessly clean with good lifeguard support. There was also a little catering "truck" on the beach serving cold drinks and shaved ice drinks. The sea is shallow for quite a way out so its good for a paddle if you don't want to swim.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Australia and right next to Hastings street. You often can watch Dolphins swimming past while enjoying the beach and water.

The first thing I noticed was about this beach was how clean the sand is, not to mention the lovely outlook out to sea! A great beach to sit and watch the world go by or to get amongst the waves.

Gorgeous beach, reminiscent of Miami South Beach with the glamourous resorts right on the beach front and the palm trees.

We parked in the carpark at the end of Hastings St, walked along the beach, and onto the boardwalk that took us into the National Park. It was beautiful, and a great way to exercise without realising it!

Swam here Oct 2014. Very powerful waves but was so much fun jumping them or smash head on into it. This beach is watched by the lifeguards so you can rest assured that you are safe. The weather was drizzling but some didn't care as it was so beautiful. Strongly recommend this as one of the top beaches of Australia... More

Nice place to just walk along and take in the views. As the surf is generally flat as a tack swimming can be done by all.
