As a family (mum, dad, 13yo, 11yo) we walked following the coast line to Hell's Gates, which was very impressive. While at Hell's Gates we spotted whales breaching just offshore, a pod of dolphins feeding close by, a turtle and a koala on the return walk. We were spell bound with the sights! The entry to the National Park has... More

Close to town and beaches, the national park is well worth the walk. Not only can the more observant see land based animals and birds but also whales and dolphins. We got quite close to an osprey perched in a tree and took some good photos. Noosa has brilliant beaches but it would be unfortunate to miss out on visiting... More

Will absolute recommend to walk or run in the morning, it is beautiful all over. I loved seeing all the surfers meet in the water. We also watched a Humpback whale at Hells gates!!!!

Escape from the Hastings St hustle and boutique/cafe scene to the walking trail through natural parklands to the Noosa Spit. Toilets and bush turkeys along the way and a 'food' van at the end to reward yourself with an ice cream treat. The 'Spit' is where the Noosa River meets the sea

Magical national park. Where the rainforest meets the sea. Koalas, surfers, sand, waves... nature at it's best.

This is a highlight of any visit to Noosa. The park is spectacular. Walkways hug the coast and are easily accessible. Wide enough for small groups to walk together and for people to pass in both directions. There are places to stop and enjoy the beautiful views. And the trees and coastline are so very beautiful. The rest of Noosa... More

A great way to spend a lazy day, ambling along the well organised paths through the National Park. Or, on the flip side of that, a great place to put the walking shoes on and get the pulse rate climbing. You may be lucky enough to catch a koala in one of the magnificent eucalyptus trees along the paths, or... More

The view is worth the steep climb! It's not sign posted the best but was easy enough to find. Go up to the top of the steep set of stairs on Little Hastings street. Then go to the right onto Upper Hastings street, which leads onto Bayview road. Go up the steep street for a few hundred metres and you... More

Quite a long walk from Noosa Heads to Sunshine Beach - around 3 hours. Last part (after Alexandria Beach) is more challenging - path is rougher and terrain is steeper. Don't be shocked by nude bathers at Alexandria beach. Can get the bus back to Noosa Heads from Sunshine Beach. Great day out
