We walked from Hastings Street and picked up a coffee and a bottle of water at the "shop" at the entrance to the park walk. It took about 3 hours in total, but the views and the exercise made it all worthwhile. We got around to a windswept beach where there was only 2 other people in sight. We saw... More

Noosa National Park walk is beautiful. If you start from the Noosa end you can walk as far as you wish or keep on walking to Sunshine Beach. The latter is a long walk and water is needed to keep you hydrated. If you begin on the Noosa side there is a smooth path (great for wheel chairs) and secluded... More

Pick a day like to day - blue skies, gentle breezes and warm sunshine and a walk through the National Park is close to heaven. Take a towel and have a swim at TiTree but be careful in the water at Alexandria Bay there are a lot of currents for the unwary. Take as long as you like and just... More

Hubby and I thought we would go for a little walk from Sunshine Beach to Noosa yesterday. We had no idea how long the walk was. It was quite warm (30degrees Celsius)and we only took one small bottle of water with us. Be prepared to climb a couple of hundred steps at the end of Sunshine Beach. I am not... More

You would not believe how diverse this track is. We love to go track 2 (tanglewood) to Hells gate and walk back on track 4 along the coast - takes about 3 hours walking with some photo stops. There are no hills but slight inclines and all tracks are well maintained. It first goes through rainforest, then open bush and... More

My boyfriend and I stopped off at Noosa as part of our road trip of the East coast of Australia. The views are absolutely stunning and it's well worth trekking along the coast to discover all the hidden beaches that are along it. On the day of our visit the weather was glorious however we did not find that the... More

At the looking point there are wild Koalas to keep your eyes open for, what a view as well :) It's either a short bus ride up the hill or for the more adventurous, you could walk!!!
