Walk thru the park and spot the koala bears. There is a sign at the entrance letting you know whereabouts you should look. Great walks - catering for different levels of fitness.

Everyday we found an excuse to enter the National Park, it ALWAYS provides the motivation to improve one's fitness. This time it was simply walking, but there is no place I prefer to run than through this National park. The views are outstanding, the wildlife impressive and amusing. The scents are intoxicating and the different micro environments always make excursions... More

From The Sebel to hell's gate and back along the tanglewood took 1 hr 50. Some bits were mildly challenging, but it's a reasonably easy and pleasant mix of coastal and bush walk. Don't expect much interaction from passersby though - pretty sure that the only people who said hello to us were fellow kiwis!

Loved walking at this park. Tip: be prepared to walk a lot and to find lots of lizards too on the way. There are a lot of beaches in this park as well where you can make some stops, this will help you rest from all the walking. Reaching the big beach ( i do not recall the name for... More

Great reason to stretch your legs. The walk was busy with joggers, walkers, families, tourists and school groups. Beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife (I saw dolphins, echidnas and bush turkeys).

Definitely worth taking a walk through the park. I took the Tanglewood Track to Hell's Gate and the back via the Coastal Track (approx 7km). The Tanglewood track was lovely and offered a scenic walk. The track does have some rough patches and has inclines, but ok for people for basic fitness. The Coastal track was very different and was... More

Love Love Love. The walk out the Hell's Gate is well worth it when you see the magnificent views. We have seen dolphins many times on this walk. Highly recommend.

We walked along the beach from Sunshine Beach then climbed up the stairs to walk though the park to the beach again then up more steps to walk though the park to Hells gate, before returning. This was only a small part of the park but worth the time we spent there. Will choose another entrance next time.
