I want to thank Paul, the guide and the driver, he was very good, my group was very slow when we climbed the red canyon and we took a lot of time when taking pictures, but he was very patient. His explanation about the area was interesting and the way he talked made the trip more fun. He is professional,... more

Be prepared for a long day, but a fantastic one. In a 4 x 4 driving along beach (about 40 miles) and rain forest along very rugged tracks. There is a picnic lunch and about 4 stops. Very good value for money and a different excursion to the usual day out. more

We had our Noosa Safari conducted by Paul who was professional, easy going and made our trip pleasurable. The drive along the beach is fun and breathtaking. The Red Canyon was also interesting. However make sure to wear your shoes/sandals so you can stand on the HOT sand long enough to admire the view. The sand was so hot it... more

I reserved a trip for a large group, and Tim took great care of us! Even though it was raining for part of the day, we still managed to get to all of the locations and see the beauty that the area around Noosa has to offer. Tim was friendly, enthusiastic, and personable. The scenery was breathtaking, lunch was delicious,... more

Thank you for your kind review. We do occasionally use the Cooloola Way as one leg (outward or inward - never both) as an alternative to the beach highway. This is only when weather, tide, or beach conditions dictate. On this occasion a combination of heavy rain, and higher than average tides dictated that the safe and correct option was...

We loved this trip, for all the same reasons as the previous reviewers. Great Sandy National Park is a really special place, and we've visited the Fraser Island section on a previous trip. This year, staying on the Sunshine Coast, we found the Noosa Safaris trip along the Coloola section to be so much more accessible - you get right... more

We arranged an exclusive hire for four of us and Tim really made this day very special for all of us. Walking through the Rain Forest, having a fabulous lunch at a secluded beach, walking for miles along the sand bank without seeing anybody, watching the Whales from the lighthouse, climbing the red canyon ….to name but a view. We... more

We had an amazing tour with Noosa Safaris and we highly recommend it as something to do when in Noosa. We were happy to escape the hustle and bustle of Hastings Street and visit one of the sandiest places on earth aptly named "Great Sandy National Park." The tour takes you along 40 Mile Beach in a Land Cruiser and... more

.If you ever, in your life, get the opportunity to go with Tim on one of his Safaris - DO IT!!!! To drive at speed ( I would say about 70mph) along the most perfect beach, for over half an hour is something that I will never forget, it was magical. So was everything else about the whole day. Tim... more

We love to read reviews from people who have had a great time on our tour. We love the area and love showing other people how fantastic it is too. The Noosa Safari travels across The Great Sandy National Park and through areas with enforceable speed limits of 20, 50 and 80 km/hr. Driving on the beach always feels much...

My parents were over from The Netherlands in March 2009 and had a great time visiting me and the Sunshine Coast. They had been to Australia about 6 years ago and drove from Sydney to Cairns. This time around they were only in Australia for 1 week before heading over to New Zealand. I suggested they take a tour on... more
