The is a particular place along this beach where Mulloway or 'Kingie' are able to be caught. It is right in front of a public car park, where I recently caught a 124cm Mulloway on a single long shank size 2 hook on squid at low tide on a Sunday morning. When I landed it (45 minutes later) with the... More

Seeing as I only live around the corner, what to say about a beach when you just want to chill out. I just love going for a walk and enjoying getting my feet wet as I'm walking along. It's a good way to keep my fitness up by walking on the beach.

The direction of the beach means the sun in the afternoon falls to the left, where as most Western Beaches its always right hand side or front on, so it's so nice to get freckles on my other half!! Lovely and generally peaceful.

We walked this beach heading north of Mandurah and another day heading south. The water is crystal clear and the sand white, very beautiful. We walked one part of the north beach on a cycle/walking lane - very interesting housing areas, very clean, but watch out for the signs going down to the beach - "snakes".

If you ask George Clooney what it is like to live on Lake Como, or ask me what it is like to live near Silver Sands Beach you will get the same answer. Its quite nice. At least I do not have a problem with the media hounding me. Here, the toilets work, the free BBQ's work. There is a... More

Absolutely love this long expanse of sand and surf. Always plenty of room for everyone. Sometimes it's hard to find access to the beach as there are houses built along it and you have to find the little car parks. Safe beach with limited danger

Enjoyed the most amazing afternoon here with someone special, the water looked amazed, no big waves and just perfect for swimming or just taking in the view.
