We were lucky with some fine winter weather. Interesting look at how the other half spend their retirement or vacation money. Some fabulous homes and cabin cruisers along the canals. We were on a comfortable cruise boat with lots of commentary. Saw lots of shags on rocks but no dolphins on this trip.

A wonderful way to see the place. We were told at the start that sighting of dolphins is really down to luck as these are wild hence unpredictable. The cruise took us through some oppressively expensive and beautiful real estate. We stopped at Dolphin Quay for a while to pick up the fish and chips for those who ordered lunch.... More

Did not see any dolphins but that is just the way wild animals are.!!! Everything else was fantastic. Views, staff and commentary were great. We added the fish and chips as we were on the lunch cruise. Yum

Enjoyed this very much. We actually saw 2 dolphins off the jetty, even before we boarded the boat, and a mother and baby whilst on the cruise. A real highlight. The skipper was friendly and gave us a good commentary of the sights, including the canals and mansions ( most of which I found very unattractive, I guess its a... More

I would highly recommend this cruise. We took the lunchtime cruise and ordered fish and chips. Shortly after setting off we saw our first two dolphins and there was no shortage of dolphins during the rest of the cruise. The fish and chips were fantastic! The captain's commentary is very funny and the tour is informative and relaxing - and... More

Relax, sit back and enjoy a very pleasant boating experience. You have the chance to eat and have a drink if you want. Keep your eyes open and catch the dolphins that are always about. See how the other half live as you cruise the waterways, every mansion is different as are the owners. Dream on folks one day this... More

We have been on this cruise many times so when we recently took some interstate guests down mid week we decided to wait out the trip on the foreshore. While waving them off the owner (we presume) asked us if we were hopping on. When we explained the situation he said "Don't be silly. we are not full, hop on... More

We bought tickets for our family at the Visitor Centre near the quay which included a fish & chip lunch (from Neros). We sat upstairs to get the best views and enjoyed the commentary. The nice lady in charge of the boat and audio commentary made sure she located the dolphins for us, to provide a photo opportunity. We also... More
