While you're around the town centre you don't want to miss the opportunity to visit the dog rock. Looks like a hound! Take a some photos for memories.

Just a rock that look like the head of a dog. Nothing much. Just a photo stop. But cute and a wonder of what nature can do.

This was really just a 5 minute stop to snap some pics of us our dog with Dog Rock in the background. But very cool nonetheless.

Drove around the corner and could not believe my eyes. Had to go around the block so the navigator could have a look ! A later visit to the supermarket without the caravan and photos were taken of this marvelous nature feature. the Black and white collar is a hit. A must see when in Albany.

Around for millennia, Dog Rock figures significantly into the Aboriginal dreaming stories and the history of the area. Glad they preserved it and made it part of the community. They've even painted a collar around its neck.

Get a look at this rock. If you're a dog lover like me you'll almost expect it to bark at you. Don't get too concerned with the nearby shopping centre that takes its name.
