We came upon it while driving back to our accommodation. It is just a big rock in the shape of a dog's head. Don't go out of your way.

Dog rock is not a place you spend allot I time at but is fun taking some silly photos. It's on a main road so watch your children if you take them.

Looks good as you drive past. Location is a bit boring for an extended stop but its good seeing the dog briefly. The collar defines the dog.

It is with a chortle to my lips that I rate this. It is basically a large rock which bares a striking resemblance to a dog with it's nose in the air...That's it!!! I would probably say take a wander down the coast to Denmark beach, pull out a towel, a good book and some sun cream instead...

When looking at it does not look like a dog unless you are told about the collar that was added later.

Quite impressive if you happen to drive pass but trying to find a parking spot to park the car and walk towards the Dog Rock is a nightmare itself. The Rock Dog is cute thou.

I pass this well known local landmark every day on the way to work and it never loses it's appeal. You often see tourists taking pictures and selfies with "the dog" and it does have any uncanny likeness to a dog's head. When in Albany get down to Dog Rock and get your photo!
