This was a dreadful experience, one of my worst to date. I went with my family, while on a camping trip to Albany on Saturday 2 January 2016. After a very icy reception, I decided to leave soon after arriving and purchasing a $45 bottle of essential oil and $7 incense sticks. After we left, my 17yo daughter told me... More

Met at the Sandalwood Factory with a long time workmate of years gone by, from Perth. They were in Albany for a family event & wanted to catch up. As we live other side of Mt Barker, we decided to meet at the Sandalwood Factory for a bite to eat, as they were on their way to Denmark to stay... More

Visited the Sandalwood Factory for the Cone, the Gong and the Bowl experience which is great value for the money. It was totally relaxing and I slept like a baby that night! There is a huge range of gifts and we came away with some lovely presents. There's a nice little cafe attached which has the best toasted sandwiches too!

I visited the sandalwood factory solely to experience gong therapy. It was fantastic! The room itself is very special, shaped like a teepee or "cone". We started with a gentle guided meditation followed by a series of different gong sounds. The vibrations were both calming and stimulating. Enough said. Just do it! Very affordable too.

We stumbled on this place and what a find. Massage treatment followed by gong ceremony. Male partner was not convinced at first, but now is a convert and tells everyone what an amazing healing experience was had. We bought lots of the sandalwood products and encourage others to do the same and support business in Australia.

Strongly suggest the café for great food. The Tribal relaxation centre for a magnificent hot stone massage make sure you book especially if there are two of you. Finish off with a gonging session - like Reike but a 45 minute session with a series of gongs which provides the perfect relaxation

Following a path to explore Albany, this is a must stop by place for you to relax and sooth your life for a while. Booked for Gong experience, you will rest your mind and body in around an hour. This is an interesting place to visit on the way down from Perth to Albany and they have some good products. I was pleased to pick up some goods which were on special, and which I later saw elsewhere in Albany at the full non discounted price, so that was a win. But I did not find the salesperson very...
