Thirty thousand poppies, on Middleton Beach during the Anzac Weekend. Topped off by a super breakfast at the nearby cafe.

Great place to visit even in winter. Easy to access and great for a walk even in bad weather. You can walk along the beach then walk around the headland on the path to the centre of town and back but will take a couple of hours. Great views all the way.

Lovely beach although the water can be a little cold. The scenery is wonderful, there are lovely grassed picnic areas, and further along is a dog beach.

Lovely place to visit and or stay. Grassed area for picnicking or snoozing. So safe and clean for all the family. Walking areas with awesome views, plenty of free parking.

While we were visiting Albany the local papers were discussing/bemoaning the need for marketing icons for Albany tourism. A bit of a "wood for the trees" exercise indeed. Albany has more than enough attractions to keep it up there with the best places to visit. It is pure joy to spend an hour or so each day you are there... More

Middleton Beach has a walkway through the adjourning bush where it's easy to see New Holland Honeyeaters and other birds.

I always love visiting Middleton Beach regardless of the season. It is especially great for being highly accessible for the old and infirm, as well as being a sheltered spot for children to play. While there, go to the Three Anchors for a coffee or something stronger. Enjoy your visit!

As a child we spent many summer holidays at Albany, but I hadn't been there for at least 20 years. The beautiful began hasn't changed at all....and it is still a magic place. The sand is white as white, and the water a clear and sparkling blue. It is a protected beach so perfect for families, and there is plenty... More
