Visited during the Anzac weekend. Display do poppies on beach was lovely to see. Great photo opportunity here. Plenty of parking available, good restraunt and takeaway on beach. Lovely grassed areas and play grounds, chairs tables and shaded areas. Learn to surf lessons on beach. Just a beautiful area. Approach via Princess royal drive and u will not be disappointed.... Middleton Beach is virtually the first port of call in Albany when looking for the most popular landmark. Not only it's the main beach to visit, but it's practically next to the centre of town, only a few minutes drive away in two different directions. The drive to it along the coast offers the most wonderful views that will never... More

Great for a early morning walk and if your more adventures than I am you can swim with the polar club, who swim there every morning all year round, The jetty to the right hand side of the beach is a great place to take the kids fishing, and you can often get a feed of squid or whiting.

Beautiful beach for walking, swimming, surfing or just sitting and watching the weather. The views are stunning and it's lovely to sit with a glass of wine on the verandah of the Three Anchors while the kids play and make new friends in the playground.

This seems to be the main beach in Albany and it is well worth a visit. It has white sand, is very large (in fact it extends far enough to allow it to be sectioned for different uses - what a fabulous idea) and is observed by surf life savers. Unfortunately on the day we wanted to go swimming here... More

Gorgeous water and long stretch of beach, a pontoon for kids to dive off, kids play equipment and all within walking distance of good food and coffee. The beach does not get much better than this!

Middleton Beach is so magic. We stayed just over the road & lucky to have a view of the beach. No matter what the weather there were people either walking, swimming & doing other activities. I just find it a peaceful place & well worth a visit

Great for all forms of water activities and even excellent for just a plain old stroll if the water is too chilly. Coffee & eatery at one end of the beach makes it a favourite Sunday Morning haunt.

This is one of the best beaches in Albany. White clean sand and you can walk all the way to Emu Point if you are energetic. The water is generally calm so great for all levels of swimmers, paddle boarders.
