You can get there on the local Trans Albany bus so for WA seniors its a free ride. As with most of Albany is very clean.

I spent many years at this beach growing up and now I am older I still love this place. Great long beach to walk on. A boardwalk that goes right into the Town of Albany. Well worth spending time there. Has a nice place to eat there as well

From the tourists driveway, we approach our airbnb accommodation through this route at dusk. The sight was truly stunning as the sun set and cast upon the many mountains/islands in the far distance. Was a nice drive around the coastal areas.

Well maintained and protected beach. Alongside is a Cafe where you can dine or have coffee etc. The beach was clean and white and would be a lovely place to swim in warmer days. In front of the beach there is lovely green grassed areas for picnic or the like.

A great place to swim, picnic, walk the beach or around the boardwalk, have a coffee, watch the little ones play in the playground, fish off the jetty and so on. Very family friendly. The site of the annual Carols by Candlelight and many other community activities during the year. Some great places to eat and drink nearby.

What a beautiful place to visit. Perfect weather and great beaches especially this one. Loved the walk and cycle path. Albany certainly did themselves proud for the Anzac commemorations. Overall a lovely visit.

This beach has that pristine white sand you expect from Australian beaches and is enclosed in a peaceful bay with views out to several islands. The whales come here in the winter with their calves, a site to see! Just watch out for the jellyfish when it gets hot ;)
