Beach area

Wonderful area, excellent beach side walking/running/cycling pathway. Love the trees with their blankets at the car park end/east end.

Came in winter so probably not the best time to experience the best of the beach. Quite nice but pretty windy. Still some construction in progress out the front of 3 Anchors but looks promising once complete.

Started the walk along the boardwalk in the late afternoon. Such a lovely walk it was, stopping to look at unique native plants, trying to snap photos of the wide variety of birds and the spectacular views of the sea. Along the boardwalk, trekkers could detour along paths leading to the beach/ coastline for lovely lookouts.

A lovely place to either go swimming or go for a stroll along the beach very near the boardwalk for the fitness fanatics

A spectacular beach with beautiful views and crystal clear water. A choice of restaurant/cafes that serve breakfast through dinner and drinks and coffee. Sunrise is the best time to visit, as the sun comes over the distant headland and is a beautiful sight across the bay. A big tip - if you want to walk the three kilometre length of... More

A great beach for all occasions….walking the dog (in the designated section) swimming, playing with the kids, whale watching in season, exercising or walking or cycling the boardwalk if you prefer and sometimes a bit of surfing (small waves). Cafe at each end, a couple of playgrounds for the kids, and lovely views.

Have always loved this beach since I was a kid in the 60s. We'd come from Perth on school holidays and stay in a cottage at the beach.

This beach is gorgeous. There is a cafe and then a fabulous boardwalk where if you are lucky, you may spot a whale. Great views and an easy walk or ride for all.

Good swimming beach. Good beach for usually gentle surfing just up the beach.(I'm told). Great place for kids to bodyboard. Good places for lunch picnics. Great waking along board walks connecting the beach to town and thebeach to Emu Point. Sand is great. A perfect place when you gef a sunny day. Still good on other days.
