The blowhole is a great natural attraction. Sadly the day we visited the sea was fairly calm so not a lot of action but it is easy to find and to access and would be spectacular with some wilder weather

Not that impressive small spurt of water. However it happened regularly. Easy to access from car park.

What a beautiful spot! We stopped here fairly early morning and it was very cold with high wind chill. However it was worth it. It was amazing. The blow hole is amazing but so are the rocks around the beach. Very scenic and worth stopping to see.

If you want to see the full furore of the sea and water jetting out from the blowhole, you need to be there when the full tide reaches the shore. A simple search on the internet of the time of tidal changes at bicheno should save your bacon. The area is still worth visiting when the sea is "calmer". There... More

Nature is a fascinating thing and certainly the Bicheno Blowhole is natures weird and wonderful. Not the best Blow Hole in the world however in saying that. Get out of the car and experience nature and revel in the wonder of it all. I hasten to add that care should always be taken, don't be complacent. The eastern coast of... More

We went to the Blowholes in the evening to see penguins returning from the ocean. Had to wait until approx 7pm. There was no need to pay for a tour as we got to see them in the wild. Was beautiful.

The blow hole was a very nice walk from where we were staying. Took some great photos of the blow hole in action. Enjoyed watching the spout as tide was coming in.

this is a great little side trip, even if your are just passing through. it is minutes off the main road, easy access, and if the seas are rough it will be a lot of fun.

The kids loved this and the fact you can climb on the rocks. Much better than the one near port Arthur! Follow the arrows on the rocks as they lead you on a lovely walk.
