You need reasonable fitness to do the foreshore walk to reach the blowholes and be careful as the rocks are obviously wet and slippy. Nature does its wonder by the sea with this blowhole, must visit when you are in Bicheno. (Just don't go so near the blowhole to avoid any accident).

When visiting bicheno the blow hole is a must see! It looks fantastic on windy days as the water blows a lot higher but be careful not to get to get too close to the side as it can be unpredictable and dangerous.

The Blow hole is just a short stroll from the town and when... More

The Bicheno blow hole is only a short walk from the car park. We were in luck with the sea conditions when we visited because it was creating frequent spectacular spray patterns which the whole family enjoyed watching. Also provided some great photo opportunities. From the blow hole we enjoyed a walk along the coast, back towards town, scurrying over... More

We watched a traveller climbing out to the Bicheno Blowhole to have a picture. Yes sure when it blows it looks great but the day we visited it was really not that sensational. I don't know if I would take my time to make a detour to check it out though. Again it depends on what you want to do... More

We went there end November at low tide so unfortunately nothing seemed to be blowing so this was somewhat disappointing
