Fees are invested into ongoing research and conservation efforts and through these efforts we hope to preserve the natural habitat of a wild Australian sea lion colony for generations to come. Our tours are designed to suit a wide variety of visitors - you can stay all day if you want to! There are no enclosures or cages at Seal Bay. Instead, you will be taken into the heart of the colony where our experienced guides will teach you more about these endangered animals. Visitors given a unique insight into how these endangered animals fish, surf, rest, interact with their pups and defend their territory. If you prefer, you can set your own pace on the wheelchair accessible 300 metre boardwalk which meanders through the dunes to a number of viewing platforms. « less

Great experience but very expensive. Opt for the board walk which is cheaper and you can spend as long as you like there. If you go to the beach you are accompanied by a guide and are limited to 40 minutes.

We thoroughly enjoyed the few hours we spent at Seal Bay. The coastal view is spectacular and there were seals everywhere. For some the boardwalk tour is enough but since this was a once in a lifetime experience I splurged and the two of us took a private tour. It was good to know that the money will be used... More

If you have a choice of the tour or just going on the boardwalk yourself, take the boardwalk. It's cheaper and you see as much. the tour takes you on the beach but you can get as close to the seals on the boardwalk as the seals often sleep right next to it.

There is something calming watching seals and there was plenty there to see. Take the tour if you want but you can get real close to the Seals by yourselve at a fraction of the price.

Great viewing platforms, lots of seals and photo opportunities. We just did the boardwalk tour, which was enough for us.

Loved being on the Exceptional Kangaroo Island tour because we were able to walk close to the sea lions and learn all about them simultaneously.

Sea lions all over the beach! It is worth the expense to get a close up tour. We got to see many moms with their young pups and large males too. We even saw a few sea lions returning from 3 days at sea!

Seal Bay was an event that we weren't too sure whether we would do. The expense was the deterrent as it cost us almost $90 for the family (three kids) and that is a lot of money in anyone's language! We did end up doing the guided tour and we were glad that we did. It was amazing being so... More

We came to see seals, and we saw them in abundance at the Conservation Park! There is the usual ticket kiosk with tchotchkes for purchase, but they also have an informative display of the variety of seals. take a quick look before you exit and head down the path and stairs to the beach to enjoy the multitude of seals...
