Our tours are designed to suit a wide variety of visitors - you can stay all day if you want to! There are no enclosures or cages at Seal Bay. Instead, you will be taken into the heart of the colony where our experienced guides will teach you more about these endangered animals. Visitors given a unique insight into how these endangered animals fish, surf, rest, interact with their pups and defend their territory. If you prefer, you can set your own pace on the wheelchair accessible 300 metre boardwalk which meanders through the dunes to a number of viewing platforms. « less

Been to Seal Bay several times now, and never get sick of it. Really lovely experience with well-informed guides. Also really nice to check out the views from the boardwalk and lookout. Highly recommended!

Up close and personal with the Sea Lions. Our guide (Lily) was so knowledgeable and sweet. Lots of fun for the whole family.

My husband and I arrived later in the day and consequently had a 'private' tour all to ourselves. The cost was resonable and the facilities were modern. The guide was very knowledgable and it was wonderful to get so close to the seals. This would be perfect for families as the kids will get a fantastic insight to native fauna.

We took a tour to Seal Bay from the Southern Ocean Lodge. It was a fantastic afternoon, with plenty of seals to look at up close. We went right down on the beach under supervision. There were a few large males on the move, and a few pups calling out for their mothers. The park is very well maintained and... More

Most of the seals were just lying together for warmth at the start of the guided tour. It was starting to get a little drab, until a large male seal returned from sea and started all the action! He fought with another male for a position amongst the ladies. The incumbent lost and moved on to another group, fought and... More

Walked along the boardwalk. Plenty of info and the staff in the centre were great. Saw heaps of seals just sun baking on the beach and a few pups playing in the shallow water. All in all a great day

We took the guided tour, plus able to do the boardwalk as well. Our guide Mel was very experienced with knowledge on not just the seals but other pieces of info on other subjects on the environment and other attractions etc. We'll worth the cost.

Get yourself a park pass which will get you in to all the attractions in Flinders chase National park. Do the guided tour which will get you nice close to the seals and learn about the seals. Do the boardwalk as well.

You have to see Seal Bay to believe it! You get so close to these magnificent creatures and they are beautiful! We were lucky enough to see a huge male come up in the surf and launch himself up the beach while we were there!
