Burleigh beach is a long stretch of white sand fringing a sparkling blue sea. It is very pretty, lovely to walk along (Can go for miles) and most of the year there is activity along the foreshore, like Tai Chi etc. Even in July, there were two or three hardy souls swimming, and surfers & paddleboarders. Watched the surf lifesavers... More

This is a really beautiful accessible sandy beach with lots of activity going on. There are exercise classes happening, runners, surfers, swimmers, people having picnics. There is lots of parking, and it is close to many restaurants.

Love this place, brings back so many memories as i lived around here as a child. I wanted to show my kids where it all began. Although it was a little cold i will always have a soft spot for Burleigh beach.

Burleigh Heads is a real nice place to visit, a relaxed laid back, lots of cafe's to visit, even barefoot bowls on a sunday at the local bowls club.

Beautiful clean, squeaky white sand which is a pleasure to stroll along. The water even in July was warm enough to swim and safe as there were life guards and flagged swimming areas.

A delightful spot, easily accessible yet not crowded as a rule. Clean and well maintained. Surf clubs either end too. The cycle/walk path bordering has amenities such as BBQ's, showers at the beach entrances and fitness equipment. Dogs are allowed on beach but not within marked surfing areas. Family friendly.

One of the best places on the Gold Coast. Any visitors to the area should definitely make time for this place. Great picnic area/play area, large stretch of pathway between North and South Burleigh areas (good for runners) and also the headland is great for those wanting a scenic walk. The beach and surf is great for swimmers and surfers.... More
