You don't have to travel too far south from Surfers Paradise to find a better sort of paradise, at least the beginning of it. Burleigh Heads can get busy, but pick the time, not the weekend and you can still meet and chat with locals down the beach. You can sit on the grass on the headland and watch some... More

Stunning beach with excellent facilities, restaurants all around. My favourite. Great for walking, safe, patrolled, not too body beautiful and closest to the national park

Very very disappointed. Not much more to add. However this is only my comment on what could have been a bad lunch day. I will certainly give them another visit.

No doubt the beach is good and some nice restaurants nearby... But you will get these things at many places in gold coast.... Its like ordinary place.... Dont... More

Burleigh Heads has always been a favourite location. Quieter than Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, but not on the NSW border. NOTE Get there before 8am on the weekend or public holidays to get parking close to the beach. If you want to have undercover picnic tables and be close to the BBQ, be there by 7:00 am or ensure you... More

Absolutely stunning beach with amazing views to Surfers. We stopped for a picnic and stroll along the boardwalk. Would love to stay in the area next visit.

Been up to the GC quite a few times but this was our first time in Burleigh Heads. Will be staying in the area from now on I reckon. Beach is absolutely spotless and caters for everyone, from families with young kids to experienced surfers. Nice park and playground, large trees for shade and picnics, walking tracks and plenty of... More

It's iconic. And deservingly so. Surfers may hold centre stage on postcards, but Burleigh is where the locals go.
