What a great beach and not so crowded as Surfers and others around, plenty of lifeguards that make you feel safe, lovely walks either on the beach or paths, keep to the left as lots of bikes and runners. Highly recommended.

Excellent spot. Can get pretty busy but there's plenty of beach and a grass area just above. Beautiful setting.

It really is the most beautiful beach, so clean and the volunteer lifeguards are awesome. The surf club on the beach is really cool too.

I live here and this has to be the best beach in the world. Great surf, beautiful beach and the village has wonderful cafes and shops. A wonderful place to relax and hang out.

A great wee beach, for the whole family and the heads with their rock pools just made it a little more interesting for children.

It is the best beach we have ever been to. Great or families. There were 3 sets of flags to swim between the beach was very clean. We loved the morning jog and workout along the esplanade then a swim at the beach across from the Southern Cross - Lots of "its great to be alive" moments

Lovely place for a walk, so much is happening and there are many cheap or free exercise classes offered throughout the week by Gold Coast Council.

This is also a really nice beach to go to, be early on the week ends though as it gets really busy. Plenty of places to have a picnic lunch.
