Fed Hollows Reserve is over the fence were I stayed with my daughter. In the morning you get woken up by the birds up, there is a little creek that flows under the bridge.

I stumbled upon this lovely walk and was absolutely delighted to have found this hidden gem. So well hidden in fact that when I went back a few Das later, I couldn't find it!

Just off Alison Road and linking through to Clovelly Road, it is well worth strolling though this secluded gully. The well maintained walkway through the valley which has been lovingly regenerated over the years. A number of spots for sitting and reflection and to forget the troubles of this world.

A beautiful reserve, great views and lovely spot for a picnic or to take the kids for a fun day - the beach is close and wonderfully secure

A quiet secluded walkway off the busyness of Alison Rd, Randwick. It's hard to believe this secluded spot has been preserved between the high rise flats and houses all around. Don't tell too many people - the developers will get wind of it!

A great place to take the children. At dusk there are bats... More

I regularly go here and take friends to walk through and get a glimpse of what paradise would have been like before the large developments.

Fred Hollows Reserve is the fascinating result of conservation efforts by the Randwick Council over the past 15 years in a mountainous part of the Coogee Basin. The two hectare Reserve follows a gully from Alison Road to Clovelly Road through the middle of a densely developed neighborhood with numerous tall apartment buildings and constant traffic. The native life in... More
