Breathtaking

Despite what felt like the never ending staircase, the walk underneath the cliffs was spectacular. The outlook along the walk kept your eyes wide open!

The tracks to the Falls is part of the journey. We saw lovely dancing 'rainbows' at the Falls as we walked towards it. Lovely scenery of the surroundings too. Definitely worth a visit.

The township of Wentworth Falls is a nice quaint little place. It has the falls as an attraction, the lake to picnic by, the pub (painted pink!) and a collection of interesting shops. A very nice stop off.

When we arrived at Wentworth Falls Railway Station, a staff member provided us with details of how to get the the walk, which was extremely helpful. The walk is highly recommended, with lots of creeks, waterfalls etc. on the way. The Falls can be accessed from a nearby carpark if you have a car, but getting there via the Charles... More

I loved that they had so any options for walking tracks each giving times and descriptions of what you would see. Unfortunately the observation deck didn't show the falls but did have a great view of the montains

We walked the Darwin walk starting at the railway station to the Wentworth Falls (the actual waterfall). This is a lovely walk along the small river until suddenly you're on top of the falls. From there we descended on the Grand Stairway on the cliff wall down into the valley, then on the National Pass, via stack ladders onto Wentworth... More

I did the Wentworth Pass walk, very very steep and a bit of scrambling but so good. If you like cliffs and epic scenery, plus lots of waterfalls, this walk is for you (there are a number of tracks, I managed to do the hardest without realising that is what I was doing as I didnt have a map).
