We visited Wentworth Falls in December and unfortunately there was not much water in the falls so it really wasn't very exciting. The area is still pretty to walk around if you just want to enjoy a hike.

We went after very heavy rainfall and there was a large amount of water in the river. The falls were brilliant. The walk from the car park is well marked and the path is of a good standard, although on our journey the path was almost a stream in places! But the journey to the falls was worth the effort:... Lovely area to walk around. Difficulty seeing the falls as such due to it being summer and not too much overflow.

The scenery around and leading up to it is more impressive than the falls but worth the hike. Didn't realize it wasn't going to be a huge waterfall but still enjoyed it.

Shame that when we went to visit this there hadn't been any rainfall for such a long time that the falls were more of a trickle than falls. Apparently after rain its quite spectacular

We loved the steps carved in the side of the cliff. Walked down to the bottom of the waterfall twice; once in a rainy day and then again on a sunny day. Completed a loop going up to the Princess lookout on the way back.

Wentworth Falls is a diamond of sights and food. Sights -please do the Charles Darwin walk-you won't be disappointed in a word beautiful-starting at Wentworth Falls this walk along a creek turns into a spectacular end with dramatic views of the Jamieson Valley and sandstone cliffs and a waterfall. For food- the old Wentworth Falls post office- located in Station... More

I have done the walk to the bottom many times and it has always been great. The first descent has steps cut from the sandstone, and a good solid railing. The next descent is down a series of steel ladders. Total time up and down is about 2 hours. You can rest at the bottom next to a large e... More
