Stunning views, even a drizzly day, don't just go to the main platform, it's worth looking at additional vantage points for a better view, there are lots of paths to choose from.

Made a beeline for these falls whilst enjoying a few days in the mountains. Took friends down the rock staircase (still amazing) and along the National Pass cut out of the cliffs and dotted with mini waterfalls. Falls still spectacular and not too many people around. Views along the Pass are outstanding. Recommended for anyone who likes walking up and... More

This has to be the best waterfall spot near sydney. We took the national pass trail and it took us to 3-4 different waterfalls, not just the wentworth falls. The views were magnificent and it's a great exercise. It's better than spending an entire week at the gym. You should head out early in the morning to avoid traffic and... More

Wentworth Falls is stunning during / after heavy rain and even more impressive when a strong wind is blowing. On a trip there a few years ago, the water went over the falls in a great torrent and a few moments later came back driven vertically by the strength of the wind. On our recent trip, the water and wind... More

I have visited wentworth falls many times over the years. Everytime I visit I am blown away by the majesty of the vista. There are some easily accessible view points of the falls with views accross the vally to Mount Solitary. I highly recommend taking the time to venture to the base of the falls. It is a very steep... Visited Wentworth falls on my way back from Katoomba. There were families having picnics in the grassed area. My friend and I walked the Princes track which was quite easy. The view of the falls was great. Would recommend to others.

Easy walk from carpark, i guess about 40 mins round trip. But not much rain so the fall is far from the pictures.but its still viewable. The weeping rock is nearby which is worth a visit

Probably not worth visiting in the dry season, but there had been a fair amount of rain & so there was plenty of water there. It's a short walk down from the car park to the viewpoint. There's also a longer walk, but we were constrained by time & so didn't do it.

What a gem! I took my 8 year old and the walk is wondrous. Do not miss this. The car park is free- there are a series of well marked trails, most are moderate so good for kids. There are butterflies, birds lizards and waterfalls - it doesn't get better. I will post photos. The council has done a good... More

Darwin's walk runs from the village of Wentworth Falls to the actual falls themselves. It approximately 5 Kms of relatively walking easy hiking through bushland alive with birds and many scenic attractions. The really hard part comes when you reach the falls themselves you can follow the National trail which would get you to the Cafe at the bottom of... More
