We are regular Hop On Hop Off bus fans and have used in many locations around the world. Not sure if the Blue Mountain Explorer hop on hop off bus was worth the expense as the only stops really worth getting of at and that we had time to do in our full day there were the Scenic World stop... More

To visit Katoomba by Explorer Bus is very handy and enjoyable. It's very spacious and clean, and you're in safe hands with experienced careful drivers. They are very friendly, helpful and some are linguist (not really ,just for a simple conversation). You'll get to see the Echo Point,(Three Sisters in Katoomba on the edge of Blue Mountains National Park, the... More

Stayed four days in Katoomba and used the bus the whole time. The drivers were friendly and very helpful. It made getting around the area very easy and enjoyable. Jimmy was amazing with his knowledge of different languages and his ability to remember where every one came from. Would highly recommend this trip and will certainly do it again the... More

The buses came on time, spacious and clean. It is the most convenient way to travel around Katoomba with stops along popular touristy places like Echo Point, Scenic World, Chocolate Factory etc. You can just "hop-on and hop-off" at any of the stops by waving your Explorer booklet. We got for 3 days with admission to Scenic World. Special thanks... More

We did the Gondolas and train ride in the Blue Mountains. It was fun. The rainforest was neat to see and offered several picture perfect backgrounds.

Got off at stops 9, 12 and 17 however decent blue mountains view from most of the route. Both drivers working on this particular day were friendly, informative and accepting of all nationalities in which were taking the tour. One even... More

This is a great way to see the area and learn a few facts along the way. The frequency of stops and pick ups is great. Loved the view from the top deck. Got some great photos along the way. You can buy your ticket from the bus driver at any stop, just make sure you have enough cash on... More

The drivers are very friendly and the buses run every half hour, so it is reasonably convenient to hop on and off at attractions. If you want to catch the train out of Blue Mountain, the drivers are very mindful of the train timetable and make sure to get you there on time. Two reasons why I didn't give this... More
