I got given a trip with these guys as a birthday present from my partner and what a great present! We did the full day introductory abseiling /canyon trip in the Grand Canyon. Fantastic! Really well done, very professional and friendly. Amazing scenery, great atmosphere, lots of fun. Dan, our guide was great, very positive, friendly and relaxed but obviously... More

I chose this company based on someone's recommendation. I selected the Empress Falls package. The weather was great. It was a combination of beginner 101 abseiling and canyoning. The tour guides were very laid-back and friendly. Their names were Dan and Callin (sp?). My group was a good group of people (4) from different countries. I was the only solo... More

We've been canyoning in the Blue Mountains plenty of times, and we're never disappointed -- the landscape is strikingly beautiful and you can't get much more fun than a day walking, sliding, jumping, swimming and abseiling in a slot canyon. This time we went to the Whungee Wheengee Canyon near Mt Wilson. The canyon is long, with lots of rock... More

Another adventure Karina? Awesome! Whungee Wheengee is my personal favourite, and I'm glad Tom showed you it's good side :) I'd love to know what you thought compared to Butterbox as they are both very different adventures. I note we still haven't got you out to the Wolgan Valley... Maybe next year! Thanks for taking the time to write this... More

Great experience and definitely recommended for thrill seekers. Our guides Mardy and Jason were really good. The best thing about the trip d that they don't push you and rush into doing things. On top of that the lunch was awesome too😀

Thanks Mak D. Marty is our most experienced and senior guides and Jason is one of our newest, and it's great to hear that they gave you a good day out. We think lunches are great too, and because we eat them every day we make sure it stays that way! Thanks too for sharing those piccies. Cheers! More

Had a fantastic time canyoning. Our guides ( Ben, Shay, Charo- apologies for any typos!) were knowledgeable, helpful and did a great job. Definitely something we will be doing again and I couldn't recommend a better company to explore the Blue Mountains with!

I signed up for the Butterbox trip but due to heavy rain we had a last minute change of plan, and did Yileen canyon instead - safety being the main priority. Nevertheless our group of six had a great day out, with the highlight being the massive 60m waterfall abseil at the end! There were a couple of other exciting... More

Thanks Jonathan! Safety isn't our number 1 value for no reason - Butterbox Canyon is particularly susceptible to rainfall and we'd definitely had a lot. We're glad that Yileen as an alternative ticked all the right boxes. I've passed your feedback on to Andrew and Marty and they hope they get to see you back for Butterbox one day. Cheers More

We took part in a family Canyoning trip to Empress Falls with BMAC a few days ago in January 2016. What a fantastic experience. My wife's level of adventure, just last week, made it very hard for her to even jump into the deep end of our local pool, just from the side. But to witness her, and our son... More

That's the kind of story I like to read! Thanks for sharing that Patrick. Empress Falls (35 metres!) are definitely not something to be taken lightly and it's super exciting that Ben could facilitate a great day for you all. I will of course pass on your feedback. And cheers for taking the time to write a review. More

We used the Blue Mountains Adventure Company (BMAC) on two occasions in January 2016. We were part of a family group with 4 adults, a 21 year old and 3 children under 13. Half of us were experienced and half, complete beginners. We took the Grand Canyon canyoning day which had a small abseil and about 4 hours of scrambling... More

I did the Serendipity Canyon, and having not abseiled for some time (15years) managed to get through very comfortably. The bush walk in and out of the canyon is also not overly difficult if you have some fitness, and some minor experience bushwalking. The guides were great, we travelled at what I would call a relaxed place but was not... More

Serendipity is a great canyon for those who are a bit rusty on the ol' abseiling skills. Glad you found it to be a relaxed pace - some participants can find the hill at the end a bit much! Most of our canyons have 2 guides and 8 participants as the maximum party size, to reduce our impact on the... More

We had a group of mates do Sheep Dip and Rocky Creek canyons and it was the best thing i have ever done in the Blue Mountains. Tom, the guide, and Keira in the office really looked after us and showed us a great time. We will definitely be back!
