We booked our trip the day before and arrived a little before 10am to a friendly greeting from the skipper. Matt and host Julie. We left on time and headed through the lake and out through the Bar in search of dolphins. We travelled for klm after klm with not a dolphin in sight. After exhausting all options we headed... More

We had a trip out on the "Amaroo" to celebrate a family birthday. Although it was a little windy on the day the skipper Matt did an excellent job steering the boat close into the rocks for us to view baby dolphins at play. What a great way to see the coastline from the water whilst cruising along the coast... More

Awesome day trip with the kids, saw heaps of whales and dolphins. Great captain in Matt, and all his crew. Last time we went the really old captain "Bill" was doing it. Never gets boring. Happy family after a great morning out.

What an amazing day out today, the boat was beautiful the staff courteous and friendly and knowledgeable and safety paramount. We travelled out into the Tasman Sea off Forster and Tuncurry NSW where we were rewarded by a large pod of dolphins playing and again when we were in the lake more Dolphins graced us with their presence. Thank you... More

Amaroo cruises exceeded all of our expectations. The vessel, a large catamaran, is new and very comfortable, with excellent viewing from all decks. They run both whale and dolphin watches, depending on the time of year and you are quite ;literally guaranteed of close range sightings. The commentary was given by a very knowledgeable person who supplied full details of... More
