This place is simply magical. Whether it's a calm day and low tide, or an exciting swell crashing into the pool, a swim at Wylies is an experience to remember and savour. They make great coffee at the kiosk too

A little bit of Olympic history started here a Wylie's Baths. Ensure you read the wall plaques on the wall adjacent to the kiosk. The pool was 21 degrees and totally refreshing, not crowded and enough room to do laps or float about. Toliets and cold showers located near the kiosk. Adult - $4:80. Lifeguard present.

What's not to like? Fantastic 50 yard ocean baths, 22 laps equal Km. Clean seawater pool with a natural rock bottom. Enjoy the sea life as you do the laps. $4.80 for a swim but worth every penny. It can get very bumpy if there is a decent swell at high tide, but that adds to the excitement. If you... More

Wonderful coastal walk, cafe's and beautiful beach. Every activity is catered for, yoga, walking, swimming. Great food and bars along with a great choice of accommodation. Easy access to Sydney City Centre where transport to anywhere is available. A great place to be based in Sydney.

A different experience, to swim in those natural rocky baths that are filled by the tide. A great spot for young children to se some small fish. Take reef shoes as the bottom is rough and sharp on feet. Googles are great to get an underwater view. No waves to n Knock you over.

The cafe does very goodcoffee, the baths are enclosed but private, it's very quiet, the view is stunning and you can sit and enjoy, the fresh breezes even on a 35C day. You have to pay a small fee to get in. But they will loan you a towel if you wander in without one.

My partner Katherine learnt to swim here when she was a Coogee Girl. Now she loves coming back whenever we are in Sydney, and revisiting the scenes of her youth. Indeed, this place is still a joy to visit. Rarely crowded, it's an oasis of peace, and has good changing rooms and a little shop, and the ocean-washed rock bathing... More

It's under $5 to enter these lovely baths. The views are spectacular. The pool is lovely and clean and you have the benefits of shade and no sand. Take a beach chair if you want extra comfort. Nice little kiosk there for rolls, sandwiches, drinks and icecreams. You can even book a massage there. Highly recommend. Have lived in Coogee... More

We are looking for somewhere off the sand and pounding surf and we found just the place. Wylie's is a huge pool with lots of space for sunning. I loved the views from the pool. Watch out for the sea urchins. They are small but they still hurt.
