Professional service, great location, great snorkeling and good food at the pontoon. What more could you ask for. We had the best time. the trip to the reef took about an hour & a half which was longer than I expected but it was lovely. The staff were dedicated to ensuring you had a great experience for the whole day... more

Had a trip to Reefworld with Fantasea in Mar 2009. The service was first class, including the meal and refreshments (just watch out for the little extras that are not included in the price). Reefworld is impressive and there is more than enough time to do snorkeling and all the reef and fish viewings. We took the optional 10 min... more

What an amazing day! The tour costs about $200 but we combined it with a day trip on the 'Maxi Ragamuffin' which saved us about $70 each. We had a free transfer from our accomodation to Shute Harbour. The catamaran is large with lots of space to sit. There's free tea and coffee, with morning and afternoon tea provided. There... more

While staying at Airlie Beach, my family and I booked the Reefworld tour. Please see the other reviews regarding what to expect from the tour, my review is about the rude, unprofessional, prejudice staff employed by Fantasea. On the return trip to Airlie Beach, I fell asleep at a table where my parents sat. (A bit of relevant background info:... more

We did the Fantasea Reefworld tour in November 2007. It takes about 3.5 hours to sail out to Hardy Reef where the Reefworld site is located. We sat on the top deck outside, so we didn't have any problems with sea sickness. They serve lunch, snacks, and coffee and tea on the ship. Other things such as ice cream, soft... more

Our first tour was to Whitehaven Beach. This is not to be missed. Sand like icing sugar. We really loved this part of our trip and wish we could have stayed longer. On to Reefworld. This takes about 2 and half hours and one hour is in the open sea. You must take the motion sickness pills they offer even... more

Our family spent the night at Fantasea Reefworld after easter. The care given to us by our hostess was first class. The care given by the dive instructor was the same, and the rest of the crew were great. Snorkelling on the reef after the crowds left was just brilliant. The fish at night were great, the accommodation & meals... more

While staying in Airlie Beach in mid-February 2006, our family took a day trip with Fantasea Reefworld which we all enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and were very good about helping people with seasickness. It was quite rough the day we went, and several people were sick. If you are prone to seasickness, you may want to try “sea-bands”,... more

We went on the three island cruise. This is a good value day-trip particularly as the cost includes pickup by coach. When all the coaches arrive everything is a bit chaotic. However once you get on the boat the sheep-herding stops and it all becomes a most enjoyable experience. The staff are all pleasant and helpful. The captain not only... more

This was my second time in Australia. Three years ago, we went out to the reef out of Port Douglas with Quicksilver. I preferred my second experience out of Airlie Beach with Fantasea. The operation was smaller and the staff friendlier. The staff was unbelievably attentive to folks who looked like they may be getting seasick. We landed on Reefworld... more
