Despite 2mt swells, and being nauseous, the reefworld experience was excellent. We unfortunately couldnt do the SCUBA dive so settled for the snorkel safari where you are accompanied by a member of the Reefworld staff. Dane was very informative, and our scheduled 1/2hr tour lasted about 50 mins. The highlight though was the 10minute helicopter ride to Heart Reef and... More

While in Arlie Beach, I took a 2 hour ferry ride out to the Great Barrier Reef. It was a little daunting jumping into the water when you can't see land anywhere. You hear the theme from Jaws in the back of your mind. When I was there, it was somewhat cloudy, so the magnificent colors of the reef weren't... More

This review is of Reefsleep (staying on the Reefworld pontoon overnight). From the start to the finish the staff made us feel like VIPs with a reserved table on the boat, taken to our private room when we arrived at reefworld, and constant (but not intrusive) checks that all was okay. We had the king size double room and it... More

Loved this trip so much. Would recommend this to everyone. Snorkeling the reef was just fantastic, so many fish of so many colours. The coral was amazing as well. Can't wait to do this again.

Recently spent two days and one night on the Fantasea Reef world, and i all can say is Wow. What an amazing experience. I snorkelled briefly, and on feeling nervous the staff offered to guide me. My friend dove and had a personal guide with a diving instructor. We saw turtles, and many different fish, then watched the sunset whilst... More

We had a great experience on our first visit to the reef. The staff on board were all very friendly and knowledgable. The snorkel tour leader was particularly attentive while we were out in the water and was quick to help anyone who needed it. This is a great way for any inexperienced divers or snorkelers to start. We saw... More

After some initial confusion with the date booked, our treatment by staff from arrival at the Hamilton Island jetty (thanks Peta), the boat over and on arrival at the Reefworld Pontoon was exemplary. For day trippers, it's a great day with a good, safe snorkeling environment for beginners or experienced and even nonswimmers. Scuba is available for certified or intro divers... More

Reefworld was awesome. They offer a lot of fun activities for all ages! Between the glass bottom boat, the water slide, helicopter rides, scuba diving and snorkeling- you could spend an entire day here and not be bored! The best activity was the helicopter ride. It was the best 10 minutes of my entire trip to Australia. It was absolutely... More

Staying on Hamilton Island we really wanted to get out to see the the Great Barrier Reef. So we booked a helicopter ride to Fantasea Reefworld - a floating pontoon located in Hardy Reef approximately 40 nautical miles from the mainland.  The helicopter only seated 4 of us including the pilot and it wasn't long before we were kitted out...
