The staff are super friendly, helpful, fun and knowledgable. They made me feel very comfortable with stinger suit (my first time). Helpful getting me in and out of the water (even made it fun). Food was great, snorkelling was amazing and sailing was glorious.

This is an excellant day trip for young and old. We had a lovely day snorkelling and sailing. Food was excellant and they catered very well for our food requirements - allergie free and gluten free

We had a great time on the Derwant Hunter. The skipper and crew were very knowledgeable and friendly (unlike the team from Illusions who could be heard shouting and swearing at our first snorkel location!). The first snorkel location was quite rocky and bit tricky to get in and out with flippers but the fish and coral were great. The... More

Went on the Derwent Hunter yesterday with the family. The sailing was good and the snorkelling good . We have been on many boats and at lunch time have always been anchored somewhere to eat. They started the engines just as lunch started and we had food blown all over the boat. I questioned one of the crew and she... More

This is my 2nd time on the Derwent Hunter. Even though my first experience was amazing, I have to say i enjoyed it more this time as we had some rain & winds of 31km/h, it felt more like a true sailing adventure. This tall ship is a Gaff-rigged top sail schooner, it has a fascinating history behind it and... More

I really enjoy this day on the derwent hunter. The crew was professional and friendly. It was nice to participate on the sailing part. One thing on which I was little sad, we we're suppose to snorkel on the black island, but due to the low tide, we went on another island wich was a little busy. Not for ourself... More

A fun day trip to 2 islands in the Whitsundays. Hoist the sails and help the crew if you like or just enjoy the ride. Nice buffet lunch served with morning and afternoon tea. Nice snorkeling opportunities from the shore with all equipment provided or just roam the beaches like a castaway. Beautiful views and nice crew.

staff was friendly. food was terrible considering they charged us $150 for this tour. good snorkelling spots but don't cover whitsundays. definitely a good choice of day tour but only if you have covered the unmissable Whitsunday.

Thank you for your review, we always value feeback. The Whitsunday Islands are made up of 74 tropical islands, and different tours focus on different areas. We choose to focus on the northern island of Langford Reef and Bali Hai, which has some of the best snorkelling in the area which we are pleased that you enjoyed. There are opportunities... More

What can I say beautiful boat, beautiful food, staff very knowledgable and friendly. All included in the price (ie stinger suits food etc) no extras like on other trips. Snorkelling was amazing, can't fault anything a truly memorable day and to top it off we saw a turtle
