My fiancé and I went on the Solway Lass about a week ago for the 3 day/3 night trip. We have basically no complaints, it was the most perfect 3 day getaway! The only tiny thing we would've changed was having a little more time to spend at Whitehaven Beach, as we only got an hour to swim and play.... More

I'm 27 years old and was travelling with my girlfriend We had a double room which was more than spacious for us The crew was AWESOME!!!! So friendly and knowledgable There was always plenty of food, the boat has been kept in really good condition, and there is plenty of space on board We were lucky enough to have a... More

We stayed on the boat 3 days and 3 nights and had an amazing experience. The crew were great especially gunny who was funny and knowledgeable and Sarah who accommodated to my prego and dairy free needs with the cooking. We didn't get to sail much due to the lack of wind but It did mean we got to travel... More

This really is the best way to experience the Whitsundays. The boat is amazing, its great to look up and see the huge masts. Admittedly we didn't use the sails much as their was very little wind on my trip but it was still great. The crew are all really nice and a special acknowledgement goes out to Sarah who... More

I didn't know what to expect from this trip but it was fantastic. The crew were great and the ship had a very historical and magical feel about it. It was a really chilled out few days with snorkeling, diving and sunbathing thrown in. But the best were the views that you get to see. They were incredible. The crew... More

I have wanted to sail around the whitsundays for ages & I picked the right ship to do so, a lot of history as it served in 2 world wars. No fancy nancy stuff just chillax on deck, snorkeling, swimming, scuba if you wish, walks on the island beaches & great fun swinging off the rope on the tall ship into the sea.... More

We had to visit the Whitsundays after all we had heard about it and decided to do it by boat, rather than staying at a resort. I chose the Solway Lass because I needed something suitable for a family with teenagers, rather than a 20-somethings party boat, which would have been a nightmare! Reservations staff were helpful and dealt with... More

It's far from being luxury. It's a bit like camping inside a ship, but what's amazing, is the ship, the places you will visit, so: Woooow, I recommend this trip to everyone!

What better way to see the Whitsunday Islands than on a tall ship?! We had a very enjoyable time on board the Solway Lass. The crew were very friendly and kept us well informed on weather conditions, sailing route and possible choices in activities. The visit to Whitehaven Beach was undoubtedly the highlight of the trip, we had the beach... More
