Type: Tours, Adventure
Owner description: 'ISail Whitsundays was founded by brothers Luke and Tristram Mairs in 2007 with one simple goal: To provide the best sailing trip of the whitsunday islands. Since then their business has grown to 3 boats and has been built upon a genuine passion for sailing and a love of all things aquatic. They pride themselves on personalised service aboard quality boats. Each tour sails, visits Whitehaven Beach including Hill Inlet Lookout and snorkels at least in 2 locations.Sailing with a small group offers many advantages. Boats taking less than 13 guests are allowed full access to the marine park, meaning ISail's boats can visit the best whitsunday locations whilst avoiding the crowds. There are 3 boats within the company: Iceberg, Blizzard and On Ice. ISail Whitsundays offers day and overnight tours. All tours depart and return via Abell Point Marina in Airlie Beach Queensland Australia.

The yacth itself is great however the stuff that runs it is disappointing and not people friendly therefore no adapt to lead a holiday type of experience (and my understanding is that it's the same people in every tour for the last 2 yrs so you wre likely to be with those same people as capitan and crew). Capitain took... More

Me and my friend booked a last minute trip to airlie beach and therefore we didn't have choice of boats for the whitsundays but it was lucky that the iceberg had two spaces and it was one of the best parts of my year in Australia. The two crew were very funny and it all felt very laid back and... More

Myself and Jem had a great time 'On Ice' with Jessie and Murray. Jessie ensured we arrived first to the stunning Whitehaven beach beating all other boats and fellow tourists to grab that unforgettable view. We were lucky enough to have a great group of people on board as well. Really shows that the trip is suitable for individuals, couples... More

Skipper Mark is so dedicated to his job that he picked himself up from an early morning slide down the road on his motorbike, arriving at the harbour a little battered but ready to go! I think the great winds and the opportunity for some amazing sailing was a big motivating factor as both he and Dan are sailors to... More

Our skipper was Kat and deck hands was Murray. I was fortunate to be paired up with a really good group of poeple (mostly couples but all around the same age even Murray/Kat). And extra fortunate that total guests was 7 out of 10-12 max capacity. 2 poeple never showed up at boarding which worked out in my favor as... More

The sailing trip with the blizzard was one of the best experiences we've ever had. Absolutely amazing. Lovely boat, crew and people. Unbelievable beautiful landscape. The food was very delicious. We did stand up paddling, snorkelling, visited the hill inlet lookout an the amazing whiteheaven beach and saw turtles. Never been before so relaxed.

Brilliant trip with skipper Jessie and cabin boy Max. Enthusiastic, professional team who were passionate about their work. They also cared enormously for the Whitsundays, the reef and its conservation. Well done guys! Be prepared to muck in a bit and for being on deck during sailing so have appropriate clothing at hand expect high exposure to sun, wind and... More
