'ISail Whitsundays was founded by brothers Luke and Tristram Mairs in 2007 with one simple goal: To provide the best sailing trip of the whitsunday islands. Since then their business has grown to 3 boats and has been built upon a genuine passion for sailing and a love of all things aquatic. They pride themselves on personalised service aboard quality boats. Each tour sails, visits Whitehaven Beach including Hill Inlet Lookout and snorkels at least in 2 locations.Sailing with a small group offers many advantages. Boats taking less than 13 guests are allowed full access to the marine park, meaning ISail's boats can visit the best whitsunday locations whilst avoiding the crowds. There are 3 boats within the company: Iceberg, Blizzard and On Ice. ISail Whitsundays offers day and overnight tours. All tours depart and return via Abell Point Marina in Airlie Beach Queensland Australia.

We were on the blizzard with one of the owners. The boat is nice, but this owner/skipper treats the stewardess as nothing, and thinks he is the best skipper in the world. (which he isn't), he only cares about the girls... The food was good, tour was good (standard), and everything is routine.

Our 2 day/2 night trip on Blizzard was the highlight of my holiday in Australia. Our captain Scotty was so knowledgeable about the great barrier reef and took us to the best snorkelling spots. Mel our deckhand was so friendly and welcoming and cooked us some lovely simple food, which was just what we needed after a day snorkelling and... More

Had a great 2 days/2 nights aboard the catamaran On Ice! Loved it. Captain mark and Amy were great. Nice and laid back. Great food cooked by a fellow kiwi, Amy!😄👍 Both were very helpful getting me on and off the boat as I had knee surgery a few months earlier and a bit of a struggle at times! Were... More

We were lucky enough to get captain Mark and deck hand Amy to show us through the Whitsunday islands! From the moment we met them, they were friendly, helpful and professional! They provided us with ample information, delicious meals and snacks and made everyone feel welcome. We used every opportunity to have a sail instead of using the motor. The... More

We overnighted on Iceberg sailing round the Whitsundays with Luke and Mitch. We had a good multi national group of fellow passengers. Luke made an excellent change of route call at the start given an approaching rainstorm and ensured we had fantastic sunshine all the way both days. Mitch makes great meals from a small galley. We saw the most... More

Sailed jan 2015, captain had a new crew member for the trip and treated him very poorly. Captains attitude throughout was pathetic, huge march flys and two days later he brings out the spray... did not bother to eat with us or engage anyone much.he was obviously having unhappy days. did not enjoy his smoking during meals or at any... Great boat and lovely tour. Will remember for the rest of my life. Beautiful day to sail, we saw a million stars, a red moon and dolphins swimming around our boat at night. Mitch and Luke were great and very interactive and friendly, a pleasure to be around and very informative. Snorkeling was amazing and Whitehaven beach was even better.... More

We booked a 2 day 1 night sail on the Iceberg recently and the experience was simply amazing. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the stunning spectacle that is Whitehaven Beach, closely followed by the beautiful snorkeling around Hook Island. The meals provided on board were of good quality (especially the gnocchi for dinner - 10/10) and there was... More

My friend and I booked a two-night trip on Blizzard and we had a blast. Captain Scotty was extremely knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable and at home. Mel, our capable deckhand, was great as well. Blizzard is only 4 years old, so it's in fantastic shape and the cabins are clean and comfortable. The boat sails beautifully, so even... More

We recently stayed onboard Blizzard with Scotty and Mel. Right from the start we could not have asked for better hosts or a more amazing experience! It far exceeded our expectations! Both Scotty and Mel's knowledge and expertise, combined with their friendly and welcoming attitudes made everyone feel safe, and ensured that we had a fantastic time! We booked the... More
