Do something a bit different. It seems that everyone has gone skydiving, and everyone has a tattoo. But very few have experienced a ride like this... Get strapped in, don your leather flying helmet and goggles, and roar upwards on an unforgettable aerobatic flight over Airlie Beach in a 1940 Biplane. Feel the wind in your face, and hang by your straps, upside down over Airlie Beach and be part of aviation as it once was. When the men who flew were pioneers, explorers and adventurers. The flight doesn't take long, but the experience will last a lifetime.

Most amazing experience of my life, I was 'buzzing' all day.

After working as a SCUBA photographer on the Great Barrier Reef for the previous 5 1/2 years and being told regularly that 'you have the best job in the world' .. I was starting... read more

After working as a SCUBA photographer on the Great Barrier Reef for the previous 5 1/2 years and being told regularly that 'you have the best job in the world' .. I was starting to believe it. Now I am humbled, The Tigermoth pilot Nick can take it. .. After changing hands in 2014 Nick and his team are doing... More

Not what I was expecting at all. Was such a great adrenalin rush, with a view! Definitely a benefit to do the flight somewhere warm, since it's an open cockpit. A very unique experience that was highly enjoyable. Give it a go!

Awesome fun! Absolutely loved the flight, especially the aerobatics. However paid for the longest tour, peter only took me on the Whitehaven tour instead which was $125 cheaper however only received $60 refund. Questioned peter about this but still no further refund. Makes no sense at all, feeling very ripped off. Couldn't tell peter through the flight either as the... More

This operator is excellent and if you want a nostalgic flight with experienced pilots then you cannot go past them for some adrenalin related activity if you are so inclined. Or if you just want a gentle scenic flight they are also excellent.

Today I went for a scenic flight with Tiger Moth Adventures. Before I review this attraction let me first tell those who read this that I am just a tad biased because the pilot who took me up was my own son. Having said that , let me also relate that I have only ever flown in one other aircraft... More

Prior to visiting the Whitsundays in Oct 2013, I looked at various activities accessible from the Airlie Beach area. One of the options was 'Tiger Moth Adventures'. The website showed some scenic flights over the Islands, and also 'aerobatics' options - the aerobatic video showed an exhilarating (if not terrifying) series of manoeuvres. I was not particularly reassured by comments... More

Had a wonderful flight and aerobatics demo on the Tiger moth. I bought a scenic flight with the aerobatics as an add-on - enough time enjoying the ride, then some crazy antics then a hair-raising landing in the wind. My other half just took the aerobatics trip and thought it was over too soon, thus I think the scenic flight... More

Was treated to the acrobatic experience by my partner for my birthday! It was amazing! If you have a weak stomach, probably best n ot to do this one as the G forces make your stomach also go loop the loop! Peter the pilot was very friendly and I would recommend it to anyone!

When you book a scenic flight for twenty minutes at about 200$, you expect it to be 20 minutes. Checking afterwards showed that it wasn't that long and waiting for about five minutes on the landing strip did not really help. The experience itself is very nice, but feel kind of feel ripped off regarding the time in the air.
