We were greeted onboard with a glass a bubbly, nibbles and a friendly welcome by the husband and wife team who looked after us. The evening was fine, the sea was calm and the visitors and locals very friendly. Drinks and snack were available to purchase onboard. This 2 hour cruise was a wonderful way to see Airlie Beach from... More

My Wife and I booked a half day trip to Whitehaven so that we could be back in time to go out on the sunset cruise with "Sundowner Sunset Cruises" ………. And What a fabulous decision that was. I cannot speak highly enough of the whole experience. We were extremely impressed with the atmosphere created on board as we took... More

With Airlie Beach, itself a misnomer, being bordered as much by luxury boats as sea, Nicole and Jeremy will invite you onto a tight, flat deck to survey all that seems busy and easy whilst still on shore. For a neat and light sum, the pair will chaperone you on a blissful tour de harbour. Nicole serves drinks at a... More

We arranged a private charter of the Sundowner as a pre wedding event for guests invited to our daughter’s wedding held at the Peppers Resort at the beginning of October. We all had a great time and it was a wonderful way to launch the celebrations and for our guests to mingle and get to know one another before the... More

What a way to relax. great atmosphere and price. I was looking for a Whitsunday experience that didn't require a full day or half day but still was relaxing and showed me the sights. What a wonderful way to start the evening for my birthday and had a cool shipwreck to see also. Great staff on board and would recommend... More

My husband and I had done almost all of the day trips out of Airlie Beach, except Sundowner, until last night. The boat is basically a big deck so everyone can see out and plenty of room to move around. Because it is an open space you will need a jacket in the cooler months. On arrival everyone receives a... My girlfriend and I joined our friends and we enjoyed this cruise very much. We particularly liked the friendly relaxing atmosphere and we were chatting to everyone by the time we walked off. The owner operators were very personable and informative about the local area and we enjoyed their company greatly. The boat has dual hulls with a big entertaining... More

Sundowner Sunset Cruise charged us AUD75 each (2 people) for a sunset cruise and then dinner at a resort hotel called Coral Seas Resort at Airlie beach. We had one more night in Airlie so why not. Well I wish we had stayed away from this dreadful ripoff. . The open deck boat was incredibly uncomfortable and unprotected from the... More
