We took a one day cruise from Hamilton Island out to the Great Barrier Reef. We are from the states, so we did not want to pass up an opportunity to see one of the seven wonders. The day of the cruise the water was VERY choppy, and the captain warned everyone before we got on board. We had a... More

My husband and I went on the Camira, Purple Cat, tour today. Such a fantastic day. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful and they really put in extra effort to make sure every one had a fun day, and kept safe. Snorkelling on the reef was amazing, so many tropical fish, amazing coral that must be thousands of... More

Took a day cruise with these guys. Got a 10% discount through my YHA membership which was quite useful. They start from the Port of Airlie 8:00am in the Morning..take you to Hardy Reef which is about 3hrs cruise ride. There you can choose from a lot of water activities like scuba diving, snorkelling safari or just take a relaxing... More

A brilliant guided trip by catamaran out to the Great Barrier Reef, morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea included. Superb diving with competent instructors - by far the highlight of my holiday!

Horrendously expensive & I probably wouldn't do it again! $230 to capitalise on a monopoly is appalling! 6 hours of travelling for 3.5hrs at the reef! Well organised tour however, it is aimed at herding large numbers of tourists. The food is terrible...don't expect anything other than fruit & packet biscuits for morning tea, the most awful, bland, cold meat/salad... More

Thanks for your review, and with all of your positive comments, your low rating is a shame. I’m sorry to hear you don’t feel you got value for money. Cruise Whitsundays does provide a range of services in the Whitsundays and we pride ourselves on providing excellent resort connections and tours throughout the region. Commercial marine operations are inherently expensive... More

Went on a day trip with these guys out to the barrier reef from airlie beach. It was fantastic! They had so many staff, the service was just excellent from start to finish, and so well organised. The equipment they had was really well kept and worked well. Paid extra to do a dive whilst there which was also great,... More

My friend and I did both the Camira tour and the Reef tour. The reef tour was good but the intro-scuba felt a bit rushed. The staff were all great but I wish we would have had more time diving. The Camira trip was a lot of fun. We encountered some hectic weather which was exhilarating. Staff were excellent.. Especially... More

We used this company for both airport transfers and for a day cruise. Upon arrival in the Whitsundays, our plane was a bit early and we were allowed to take an earlier transfer, rather than wait an entire hour for the one we had booked. The employees are friendly, and there is free tea and coffee, as well as refreshments... More
