The crew were very funny and friendly, however, they did not provide much instructions on how the day would proceed. For example, telling us how long we have at each place would have been helpful, so we could explore the island ourselves and get back to the point of departure at the time they required. The "bush walk" did not... More

Definitely a good experience. Crew was very friendly and helpful. You'll get amazing views in the Hill Inlet lookout and a good swim at Whitehaven beach. BBQ lunch is quite good and the snorkelling is totally worth it. We spotted a decent number of coloured fish... Loved it!

We have just stepped off the boat after a really fantastic day. We are a family of 4 travelling around the world for a year. We have a 3 year old and 4 year old who turned 5 today and this trip was for her birthday. Anyone with small kids knows that a day long trip can be made or... More

We had a good day with Whitehaven Xpress. They fore filled everything that they said they would in the leaflet. We did have quite a scary talk form the captain about how easy it was to drown whilst snorkelling, which scared me so much that I soon came out of the water as I am not a good swimmer. The... More

On Nov. 22 I was a paying customer on this boat and was sexually harassed by the captain, known as "Captain Dan". I had just come out of the water after snorkeling and, while I was still in my bikini, Captain Dan told me (and I'm quoting verbatim here) "I like watching you laugh because your [insert explicit term for... Pretty much what we expected. The tour was on time and on schedule. The crew was friendly, laid back and helpful. Leave at 9 am Approach hill inlet at 1015 ish Park boat. People were brought to shore on a little dingy boat which fits about 10 people at a time. Take about 10-15 minutes for everyone to get off... More

We'd been to Airlie a few times but always missed Whitehaven Beach. We asked our friendly Unit Manager (Cath at Airlie Apartments) about day trips and she recommended Whitehaven Express as the one for us. Local knowledge always helps and she was right. Our trip was fast but comfortableand the crew were great, ensuring that we learned a bit obout... More

This is an excellent trip to see the highlights of the Whitsundays in one day, and the guys running the boat are lovely and laid-back. The trip suits all ages, bearing in mind that it is not a backpacker-tailored excursion. Also, the lunch is nice and there's plenty of it.

I was looking for a nice excursion to Whitehaven Beach for two adults and a 2,5 years old child. We didn't want to be surrounded by noisy backpackers. We were suggested a trip with Whitehaven Express. We were told that this business is run by one family. It was a great experience! We enjoyed this trip a lot. The family... More
