After five days in Port Douglas, we by chance came here for five more nights and loved it! Love that the beach has all the restaurants and hotels across from it. The restaurants are world class. The gum trees and palm trees are amazing. I'd definitely come here again. Great swimming in their winter as its warm and no jelly... More

This is a wild part of the world. And I have seen ppl drown in calmer beaches. There are jet skis for hire and canoes. But always read the life savers black board. The walk alongside the beach is probably one of the best promenade walks in the world. It is so beautiful and there is a divine meandering path... More

A bit reticent writing this review about this quiet little gem lest more people discover it! If you think of all the quality accommodation, restaurants and beach of Noosa but take away the commercialism, crass tourist shops and hustle and bustle - you have Palm Cove. We'll be back!

This is a nice place. The beach was busy with people in the water despite the crock warnings. There are MANY restaurants and shops. The pier is fun and you can rent fishing poles. People were catching fish while we were there. It is easy to get to from Cairns on the 110 bus.

I went to Palm Cove from Cairns for the day on the 110 Local Bus that ran every 30 mins. The bus drivers were very considerate and helpful in making sure you knew where you were going. I enjoyed wandering along the beach and looking in a few shops. Lunching at the Apres Restaurant. Great place to visit and will... More

Lovely jewel in the Coral Sea. Lovely clean white sand with a wonderful view of double island and scout cap island (I think), even with a wonderful jetty for those wishing to wet a line. Best beach in the Cairns Region.
