Palm Cove comes complete with cafes, bars, restaurants, hotels and all the requisites for the traveller or like us just locals wanting to hang out away from town. Also on offer is the jetty for pleasant sunrise or sunset strolls or just for fishing. The views over the Coral Sea and to Double Island and Scout Hat Island is amazing..... More

Palm Cove Palm Cove is a quiet friendly area, consisting of a number of large and small accommodation places including Spa Resorts. Shopping and eateries face the beach and are spread out along one side of a paved street, with the other side of the street having a cycle / pedestrian path adjacent to the beach. For self catering there... More

It was quite windy for most of the days which made the sea choppy and churned up... but when it was calm it was beautiful, soft greeny blue colour. The beach is quite long and good for a walk. We were there at the end of August and it was pleasant to swim in, a bit chilly but not cold... More

Lovely beach, perfect getaway spot. Beautiful golden sand and not crowded. Has safe swimming areas, probably better to swim in winter when there are no stingers around.... this applies to all beaches in this area.

Appealing village among the palms alongside this fab beach. Sometimes a keen wind annoys. Best retreat to one of the pubs or cafes

Due to the location the water is brown, travel twenty Ks north for cleaner water! However we enjoyed walking on the beach although the warnings about crocodiles are a bit disconcerting . Enjoyed watching the fisherman on the pier.

If you like to be near hotels, resorts, shops and restaurants when you go to the beach then this is for you. The beach itself is really nice with loads of palm trees lining the shore. The beach itself is a decent length, it's the depth of the sand from road to water that is quite short. Nevertheless, it's very... More

Long stretch of sand from the Palm Cove Pier through to possibly trinity beach, good walk, walk water. Need to get to the beach early before the sun fades behind buildings and palms in the afternoon and the rising tide diminishes the dry sand.

Great ocean views. Clean, quiet and serene. Beware of crocodiles and jellyfish in season. Swim in protected areas only.
