Pretty beach with a long jetty for fishing and markets on a Friday night in the carpark at the northern end of the beach.

A lovely long beach to walk with a pier at one end and palm trees of course. Palm Cove by name and nature. Great choice of cafés too.

Unfortunately all of the coastline of this area of Queensland is pretty much off limits for swimming because of crocs and killer jelly fish. Their was a netted enclosure area but I was still intimidated by the danger signage. Thankfully all the hotels have pools. The beach and water is still beautiful to look at and have a cup of... Palm Cove is likely the best of the best as far as an example of a lay-back tropical holiday destination, goes. This beach is about 30 Minutes North of the Cairns International Airport by car and there is ample accommodation both on the beachfront and nearby. Also, there are dozens of restaurants, the Palm Cove Surf Club, a bar, Caravan... More

Beautiful beach with a fishing dock. Lots of parking available when we went around 5pm. Didn't go in the water due to signs that said beware of crocodiles.

Clean sweeping beach with Palms, lovely sea Breeze and nets for the Stingers ( an unfortunate reality in this part of the world)

We've visited Palm Cove for the second time in the first week of December. The beach is off limits for swimming but the netted area is huge & allows for a taste of ocean swimming! It is quiet and not busy with a lot of tourists - plenty of choices for places to eat, relax & chill. Great place worth... More

Palm Cove Beach is coarse white sand and is long and an easy great walk. We were there just after the high tourist season and they had deployed the stinger nets so that it is safe for a swim in the warm but still refreshing waters. Cafes, bars and restaurants are only 20m from the beach and are a great... More

This is a really lovely place. Very pretty. Nice beach to relax on and lovely quaint shops to potter in. We went sea Kayaking, that was fun! A bit scarybut that's me being a wimp, but you can go over the reef. The sea is sectioned off with safe spots to swim in, and it is lovely and warm which... More
