Never too busy, great location to hire kayaks and catamarans to tour the local area. Great for the morning stroll, seems to be very secluded.

It is definitely worth a visit. We stopped in here on our way from Cairns to Port Douglas. We enjoyed a stroll along the Boardwalk and had morning tea at a cafe on the esplanade. We thought the view so pretty that we came back another day and had lunch here. Most of the eateries are quite expensive but it... More

We have been to the Trinity Beach Tavern on several occasions, and cant fault the food at the bistro. They have a variety of meal types to suit all palates and at a reasonable price. The service offered by the staff is always very good.

We were lucky enough to witness the full moon over the beach - It was stunning. The stinger enclosure was great and fully patrolled. The water was gloriously warm and calm. There was no litter. The only downer was not being able to swim the entire beach, but that goes hand in hand with North QLD at that time of... More

Ihave many mixed feelings when rating this beach! Even though it looks so beautiful, it hides some dangerous facts. I was unable to swim in such beautiful scenery because the warnings were very clear about the danger of being stung by jelly-fish. Furthermore, we were warned about the possibility of encountering crocodiles lurking under the waters. At first I thought... More

Despite rough seas for most of the time we were in Palm Cove, the walks were pleasant and bathing safe. In calm weather it was great. Since it was out of season, there was always parking available on the beachfront and plenty of places to eat and drink.

Palm Beach located north of Cairns is a great place to unwind and use as a base to explore the area to the north of Cairns. The beach area is well serviced with a number of good hotels 5 star to caravan park standard. There are a number of restaurants and coffee shops along with a licensed surf club and... More

Nothing to dislike, perfect location, patrolled swimming, plenty of restaurants, bars and coffee shops even beach bbq's. Miles of sand for a long walk or take a gentle stroll along the jetty and watch the fishing, or dip a line in. Hire a kayak etc etc, plenty of activities.
