We found the Cairns night zoo to be a well organised and structured night out. They serve up BBQ steaks and chicken with salads then desserts. Then take you on a guided tour of the zoo and give you the opportunity to see the wildlife up close and at time touch them. A highlight was the wombat that came out... More

The Best Zoo i have visited, the staff put on an amazing show and adventure. The BBQ Dinner was delicious. My son and i were dragged onto the dance floor kicking and screaming metaphorically speaking hahaha!!! but enjoyed every bit of the barn dance and meeting other tourists while grabbing your partner round and round :-)

At the last minute we decided to book a trip to the Cairns night zoo. We were able to make reservations at our hotel and we were picked up in a comfortable van in front of our hotel. The people at the zoo were friendly, nice and accommodating. The food was good. The best experience was holding the Koala bear... More

This is a fantastic thing to do both as a family with kids or not. My 12 year old sister just had the absolute best time ever and has not stopped thanking me, so thank you so so much Cairn's Zoo for the night adventure. Food was great, entertainments fun, and the information and tours of the zoo seeing all... More

What a great night, full of fun and light heartedness. BBQ food, and salads etc. Great selection. Wine or beer to go with dinner. Staff were very informative and it was great to be able to pat the Kangaroos by the fire. Koalas were so cute and loved having photo taken with one. Feeding Crocodiles was an experience. Didn't know... More

This was my fourth time, and I enjoyed it again. The food is simple but tasty; if you're looking for a 5 star dining experience, you'll be disappointed, but no one leaves hungry or thirsty. Very much enjoyed the interaction with the animals (although the crocodile feeding was a bit snappy!!!!), but at least the kangaroos weren't jumpy on the... More

Disappointed with whole experience. Entry was greeted with "Non Australian" only four tables set for "Non Australian" meal, Dome sausages, chicken, salad, supermarket desserts and if you hurry you may enjoy a complimentary drink. Staff staying behind bar? (Why not interact with eating a meal with us)? No, instead they grabbed plates of food and took back behind bar area... More

Kids Loved it. (6&8) Dinner is included and drinks, Damper at the end of the tour with billy tea. Then back for bush dancing and more drinks. Not very big groups so not crowded. They showed us Koalas, reptile and bird talk and finished off in the kangaroo enclosure to feed them. Everyone gets their own torch to use as... More
