here is a zoo that lets you touch and feed some of the animals and walk inside the aviaries. Loved it!

My kids aged 4 and 15months had a great time at this zoo. The loved the pelican feeding and the free bird show. They had a great range of animals and reptiles, and the food at the cafe was good (but over priced). Take your own food to save money. Take advantage of the free entry for two days after... More

Went here last year and were so impressed we had to return. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff who love their jobs. Big enough that it doesn't seem busy and you always get a chance to have quiet time with favourites eg. The cockatoos or the koalas. Loved seeing the koala babies with their mums. Good value in that you can... More

The zoo is a great day out for the whole family. Excellent selection of live shows including a bird flight show and a very informative reptile show. There aren't any "large" animals on display but there is plenty to see. A number of walkthroughs including birds and kangaroos. Excelent for the little ones.

Not a large zoo by any means. The enclosures for the animals felt a bit small and there wasn't a particularly large variety of animals. The keepers putting on the shows were enthusiastic and informative. Overall a pleasant enough but fairly basic zoo.

Although this isn't the largest zoo, we easily filled a full day here by experiencing the daily shows/presentations that the knowledgeable and approachable staff put on. This was our first up-close encounter with Australian wildlife and were most impressed to hand-feed and pat Kangaroo as well as stroke the python at the end of the educational reptile show. We were... More

Great zoo and fantastic setting. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I was disappointed with was that they have an allocated smoking area in the zoo . It was right next to the eating area and animal enclosures. I would hate to be the animals putting up with 2nd hand cigarette smoke all day. Really needs to... More
