The boat ride on the lagoon is a must as is the croc feeding. We'd heard this place was great and it lived up to expectations!

Went with friends to what we thought might be a bit tacky only to find a really well organised and thought out park with much more than just crocs. A beautiful lake cruise to observe and learn about the crocs was included in the ticket, which can be used over three days. In other areas there were Kangaroos, Koalas, Snakes,... More

Suitable for all ages you can take your time and wonder around the only thing that is a set time is when you arrive you are given tickets for the boat ride around the crocodile lake and there is... I was part of a tour group going on a one day trip, theres a great restaurant there that has a wide selection of food (spoiler alert: its croc meat) The show itself is also quite good, the crocs are ridiculously big!

We spent 7 days in Port Douglas and only left pool side for one activity and this was it. Well worth it too!! We had a fantastic time. All the staff were really friendly and we saw so many crocs!! The best part was the boat tour when the crocs jumped out of the water. I'm so glad we went... More

Although we have lived in FNQ for 11 years, this was our first visit to Hartley's. Our son and daughter in-law and our 2 1/2 yr old grandson were visiting and they wanted to have the day there. It is a great place to take most age groups. As adults we loved it. The exhibits and educational programs were well... More

This is basically a zoo but it doesn't seem like one since the kangaroos roam around and the koalas sleep in the little trees. Best of all are the crocodiles in the lagoon. On our boat trip the guide put meat on a branch and an eagle swooped down to snatch it while a large crocodile tried vainly to snatch... More
