Arrived in time for the absolute rush (lunch-time in the Xmas-NYE break), but the staff were very organised and professional. The crocs were great, all the talks were informative and enjoyable (especially the snake handler - clearly a very passionate man) and got to feed the cassowaries as a bonus! Even enjoyed a croc burger! Also, was lucky enough to... More

Very interesting, informative and sometimes funny presentations on our native wildlife. Croc demos, snake handling and cassowary feeding among other educational tours in the park make it a day well spent. Staff are all friendly and knowledgeable and the park is incredibly clean. And the cafe food is good too :)

I only visited this place because we purchased a tour that included the Kuranda skyrail and Hartley's Crocodile Adventures in one day, and I'm so glad I did because Hartley's ended up being one of the highlights of my entire trip. The boat tour, the crocodile show, the snake show, the petting zoo, and really everything was top notch. The... More

Such a well organised and awesome place to visit. Staff are very friendly. You can get up and close to the animals. Even patted a little wallaby. The boat cruise is outstanding. A must do for anyone going to Cairns

We had 1 day left and decided to head from port Douglas for the day- and we were so glad we did. The entrance fee was reasonable around $100 for family with 3 kids and you can go back over 3 days if you like!! The days program is clearly explained and set out and you can be entertained from... I've lived down the road from Hartleys for 3 years and always thought it was a bit of "tourist trap". Couldn't be further from the truth. Had a great day out with my young son, husband and brother who was visiting from Victoria. We all enjoyed the day - even my 6yo who gets bored instantaneously! Fantastic and knowledgable staff... Reasonable entry price, A$37 per adult. Staff are very friendly, and know how to put on a show - the lagoon boat tour guy was especially very entertaining and funny. The feeding was great but is very crowded and can be hard for small kids to see the action. The freshie area was better and was amazed to see the... More

We arrived before the park opened and left around 3.45 - a long day but full of interesting activities. The staff were kind enough to let us wait in the restaurant area before the park officially opened, and as some of the first people in we could pay another $10 for the opportunity to feed the crocodiles, which was an...
