We were pointed in the direction of this attraction by a local and we are glad we took her advice. This is a compact park, but it packs a lot in without cramping the live stock. There are demonstrations that fill out the day and of course there are the animals. Crocodiles, cassowaries, emus, kangaroos and koalas as well as... More

I loved the Kangourous and the walk in the park But a bit disappointed by crocodile feeding and crocodile attack shows, it was too long, too much blabla!

Have never been a fan of crocodiles, but learned so much to appreciate about these strange pre-historic like creatures. The breeding and rescue efforts that Hartley's has been engaged in for over 50 years is wonderful.

We arrived just after lunchtime, we needed more time. There are a LOT of things going on. Do the cruise, do the shows, take a look around. My two teens said it was THE best thing we did in Cairns for our entire 8 day stay and you can't argue with teenagers - trust me, I've tried.

All the staff we encountered were passionate about the animals and conservation. We found a snake skin as we walked out of the crocodile farm section of the attraction and showeed it to the snake man. He told us it was a King Brown snake's skin. ARGH!!! He had shown us a terrifying taipan but reassuared us that as they... More

We spent half a day at Hartley's - main reason was to see the croc's up and close. We were not disappointed. Park is well set out with plenty to see. The boat ride around the lagoon was particularly good. Would recommend.

This is a well run outfit, with plenty to see and do. We arrived around 10am and left around 4pm, and really enjoyed our time. The snake and croc attack shows in particular were entertaining and amusing, if not a little dangerous! Loved seeing the strange cassowaries, and the kids enjoyed hand feeding the wallabies. But this place is geared... More

We spent a full day at Hartley's and the commentary and the knowledge of the staff is most impressive - especially Duncan!!! He is a champion! !! The croc feeding, croc attack show and boat ride were great as well as the snake show. The snake show in particular impressed us as they spoke about first aid for bites and... More
