We spent a full day at Hartley's and the commentary and the knowledge of the staff is most impressive - especially Duncan!!! He is a champion! !! The croc feeding, croc attack show and boat ride were great as well as the snake show. The snake show in particular impressed us as they spoke about first aid for bites and... More

The kids loved feeding the cassowary, and finding the snakes. The wallabies and kangaroos were less interested in their attention. Highlight was the boat tour and feeding. A good day out, take sunblock.

My only criticism is the staff working at the entry. I found them rude and extremely unhelpful. They do not seem to have grasped the concept of customer service. The attraction is very nice and a great family day out but our day was tainted by the rude service on arrival.

I visited Hartley's to kill some time for an afternoon flight out of Cairns and ended up having a great time! The river cruise was brilliant and our guide for that was hilarious. There are plenty of crocodiles to see and they all seemed to be so close, despite being behind protective fencing. The feeding demonstration was also highly enjoyable... More

OK, you pay a lot of money to get into this place and are shuffled to the snack bar where you can get some wildly overpriced grub and wait for the two shows to start. The water boat "river" cruise is predictable and fine for the kids. The tour of the croc farm meant walking to the two big pits... More

We had a fantastic day! This is a must do if you are in far north Qld. All the staff were very knowledgeable and the exhibits were great.

Interesting place, worth going up to the farm area to see baby crocs being bred for their skins to be turned into high end accessories. Very expensive, visitors are forced to eat their crappy high trans fats food and overpriced coffee and drinks. The croc shows are the usual tease the croc to jump up for a bit of dead... More

A well set out, informative, exciting and enjoyable facility, Hartley's Crocodile Farm is so much more than just looking at the Crocs. They have comfortable paths and walkways through all sorts of animal enclosures, including Cassowaries, Kangaroos & Emus, reptiles to name a few. The restaurant serves local cuisine of crocodile and kangaroo if you are adventurous. We tried Croc... More

You gotta see crocs while in Qld. This place was just up the road and a lot fun. You get right up close to these amazing dinosaurs

This is a fantastic activity to do during a northern QLD stay. The tour guides are "aussie larrikins" with a great sense of humour. You won't get political correctness here, but they are respectful (they mostly make jokes about themselves). Don't miss the crocodile attack show and please ensure you make time to visit all the animal enclosures as there... More
