This beach is very photogenic, palm trees and crystal turquoise water. It was also deserted when we were there!

just one of the most natural, real, relaxed and tropical looking/feeling and island style spot I've ever been to...and I am a Caribbean natural. Hands on the best tropical spot less than a couple hours away from Santo Domingo.

Beautiful local beach, almost no tourists and good restaurants. Loved this place and also great for kids.

The beach lives up to its name, but it is north facing and can get windy and a little rough in the afternoons. A number of small hotel/restuarants are along a pleasant walkway on the beach. We were there during the off-season and had the beach almost to ourselves during the late morning with a few more people by the... More

This beach is better than Las Terrenas/Las Ballenas beaches, but not particularly nice. It has coarse brown sand in a steep incline down to the beach, trash, lots of motos, foot traffic, dogs from the vacation rentals all along the beach. There is a quiet pool at the Far East end that is tranquil and has some famous rocks that... More

Just visited in the early summer and stayed at one of the Las Nomadas villas around the point. Great beach and even better with minimal crowds or people wanting to sell you touristy things. The whole stretch from Playa Bonita to Coson is beautiful and delightfully uncrowded

Hi my name is Douglas and I might be a bit biased as I have lived in Las Terrenas for over 7 year coming over from England with my wife Helen. I have travelled the world and spent many hours on beautiful beaches. The beach at Playa Bonita ranks in my all time top ten for its simple beauty turquoise... More

One of the best beaches I've ever been with clean waters, soft waves and white sand I really recommend this place.
