If you're in the red centre you need to visit here too. It's about 30 minutes from Yulara and AAT Kings tours can take you here for tours, we did the sunset one which meant we were there mid-afternoon. It's an impressive rock formation, hard to get the scale because of the different heights of the domes. We visited the... More

There are 4 main peaks of the huge rock formation known as the Olgas, and they are just as dramatic and beautiful as those in the Blue Mountains. Don't just see Uluru, make sure you spend plenty of time here too.

I had no idea that this would be such an amazing place and so close to Uluru. Sun rise here was fantastic as you could see the rock as well. Do the walk to Valley of the Winds early as it gets hot and they won't let you pass the gates after 10.30 in Summer. It is not a hard... More

We enjoyed a lovely drive to the OLGA'S and were not disappointed. A great viewing stand approximately 2 miles from the site gave us plenty of beautiful pictures. That morning it was 38 degrees C or 101 F, so walking the trails was limited but nevertheless quite the experience. Bring good walking shoes!!

Ok but not as special as Uluru. Viewing stations and walks available but while great is not special. It is there so I would recommend a visit while in the area.

Literally, the wind is hot and striking.....mosquitoes abound Well worth the sometimes very craggy terrain. Don't rush, take your time and enjoy all the glories of the walk

Very cool to fly over the desert and see the rock formations.... watch the heat and the time of day you want to go - the helicopters aren't able to go up if the temperature is really high. We were there in December and it was hot hot hot and hot.
