My wife and I were very glad we had 3 free hours on your last day to do this. The Camels are all different with their own personalities. The tour guides match you with your camel.

My sister and I did a sunrise camel tour last weekend. It was a highlight of our trip. From arrival to departure the staff were helpful and informative and they all seemed to have a genuine fondness for the camels. The homemade damper at the end was fantastic and a nice end to a fabulous experience. Highly recomended.

We rode Wally the camel from the camp to the sounds of Silence dinner for my birthday treat. It was such a comfortable ride I could have stayed on for hours. Riding through the countryside was relaxing and informative as the staff are so knowledgable and capable. We were picked up from our hotel and had a lovely hour seeing... More

I really enjoyed the Sunrise Camel Tour! The weather was perfect although freezing but the borrowed poncho from the shop helped. The guides were really accommodating, helpful, very informative and entertaining. I learned a lot from their personal anecdotes & the stories they shared. You can see that they are passionate on what they do. Really yummy morning tea too... More

Our family enjoyed the sunrise camel tour on Jack and Murphy. Sitting on a camel for 60min can be quite chilly, so would advise warm socks and gloves - ear muffs might also come in handy- both for warmth and tuning out! Fresh baked bread and piping coffee was a welcome treat at the end. Disappointed with the quality of... More

I always pictured my first Camel riding experience to be in Egypt, well, why not the Australian Outback instead? I am letting you in on my ignorance of the history of Camels in Australia, don’t worry, through a little research and quick fill ins from our tour guide I was quickly brought up to speed and embraced Australia as a... It was quite good to know that there are camels in the wild in Australia and that the farm didn't do any breeding but rather 'caught' them and trained them for this purpose. Camels apparently cause problems to farmers when they are in the wild. Very informative staff (Sam was our guide, she's lovely). We did the afternoon one (morning... More
