Just got home from Uluru and still on a natural high. Did the sunset camel tour with our late teen kids and we all loved it. Organised, fun, informative, bit scary when the camels get up and down but the staff made you feel that you were safe and in good hands. Nice long walk around the sand dunes, heaps... More

What a great chance to see both Uluru and the Olgas at Sunrise. The staff are very knowledgeable about the area and about camels - a beautiful and educational experience. We had initially booked for a sunset tour that got suddenly rained out. Our family was on the camels when the skies opened. It was fun to experience the camels... More

We did the sunrise tour. It was really cool with the camels to see the sunrise at Uluru and the friendly staff took pictures with our one cameras and there was also a professional photographer who mad great pictures. At the end we got fresh bread and something to drink. It was a good start in the day.

The crew was very friendly and funny, the camels well behaved and the scenery gorgeous. The only thing that baffled us a bit was the amount of time spent taking pictures of the group which then had to be purchased separately at a later stage. But they had a baby camel and a small kangaroo to look at which made... More

Camels to Sunrise at Yulara is a must! The camels are so friendly and loved by the keepers, you can't help but fall in love with your camel also. The beauty of the sunrise is enhanced when you see it from the calm and quiet of a camel! Wonderful experience

I was initially sceptical that I would enjoy the experience - not liking camels and the flies that are everywhere in the outback. But, the staff at Uluru Camel Tours were funny and great at keeping you entertained so much that I soon forgot I disliked Camels (trip to Egypt... years ago... some child and a camel called Ali Baba...... Visited Uluru with a girlfriend and opted for a sunrise tour, sitting on a camel as it graciously walked in the desert. The crew was funny, knowledgeable and caring for guests and animals :-) any fear we taken away by their assistance to make the experience memorable. Very well orchestrated. The crew has the whole experience organized down to a T. They stay right on top of everything going on. You are briefed on what to bring (basically not much) on the ride and they quickly get everyone briefed and on their camels with no confusion. Attention was paid to every detail and the ride was smooth... More

We had little education about camels, much less on how to ride one! But through the wonderful excitement of our cameleers, we learned a lot and were amazed by size and smooth ride, easier and more comfortable than horseback. The cameleer who gave us much of our education was a young girl with long brown hair and was most enthusiastic.... More
