Very refreshing and clean. Wonderful for a swim surrounded by nature. Recommend to take a floating if you are not a strong swimmer

Wonderful scenic spot with great swimming pool alongside lovely green lawn area, toilets, showers and kiosk. A significant walk to the top of the hills to reach the "top" pool. Need time due to steepness and roughness of walk...but well worth the experience. Take plenty of water and a hat. Even better avoid midday heat

If we thought Kakadu's campgrounds were disappointing, then Edith Falls hit a new "low"! Dusty, unsealed roads, with NO garbage collection facilities: - they expect you to dump it in someone else's 'backyard'; after charging you a premium to stay there, amid bureaucratic threats of fines! Litchfield NP was a delightful stay.

definitely worth the walk to the top pool, don't bother taking a picnic up, just leave it in your car until you walk back down then head over to the big splash pool and picnic on the grassy area there - amazing views

This spot is about 60 kms out of Katherine and if you have your own transport, you really should visit. If you have difficulty walking up hills and steps you can still enjoy the views of the lower pool and waterfalls. They are beautiful. However, if you are even only average (or just below) fitness, make the effort and try... More

The Leliyn (Edith) Falls are beautiful and visiting them so soon after the wet season was the best move. We joined all the other tourist in having a swim and just enjoying the surroundings. A very pleasant hike and an area you could easily spend a few days to catch the falls at different times of the day.

My only bug about this experience is that it's not very friendly for young children or disabled people. It really needs railing on cliff edges etc, I was constantly worried about my little sisters. Once you get up to the top pool it's absolutely amazing, it's a lovely experience after the long... Long walk. Make sure you go around the... More

After spending the morning in the Katherine gorges we decided to take a look at the Edith Falls. We expected a big waterfall but instead it was a pretty small one which was even hardly visible. So not too spectacular. However, I saw some photos of the falls in the wet season which looked much more impressive, so probably we... More

This was amazing! I've been to Katherine gorge, bitter springs, and a couple of swimming holes in Litchfield but this was by far the best. It's a hot walk uphill from the car park but only about 15-20 minutes but once you get in the water - it is worth it. Be careful as you need to climb the rocks... More

Beautiful clear water with an interesting walk up above the falls. The area above the falls is marked and man made steps and aides are provided to assist less steady travellers where required. The lagoon is surrounded by natural features. An easy day trip from Katherine.
