We arrived a little early and were welcomed by Alex who introduced the children to a couple of Joeys he was caring for whilst we browsed the impressive gallery. We then spent a wonderful 3 hours with Manual from the Dalabon tribe who shared a great number of stories whilst we enjoyed the hands on experiences. A great way to... More

If are looking to get an experience of what life was like and might still be in some areas of the outback for the indigenous people, then Top Didj is great. Everyone at Top Didj does a great job. From learning how to paint, throwing a spear and lighting a fire with sticks, it's hard to find another experience that... More

I really wanted to learn more about Aboriginal culture and their lives and also for my children (7,5,3 year olds) to experience this too. Our day with Manual was truly enriching, we learnt about his life and his people's ways. He was a fantastic story teller and brought his teachings to life. We learnt how to paint, how to start... We are a family of 4 with 2 kids (8 and 4 yo). We are travelling through the NT and I have wanted my children to learn of the Aboriginal culture and history. Manuel has provided such a beautiful introduction and I have found it insightful, fun and entertaining. Paint is always a great draw card for kids but I... More

My husband and I and 2 teenage boys have been travelling for a week through the NT. We have done a lot of tours, but felt we were missing a real insight into indigenous culture. The afternoon spent with Manuel hearing his story and experiencing first hand traditional painting, spear throwing and fire lighting was something we will all remember.... More

Whilst visiting family in Australia from Birmingham UK, we spent some time in the Northern. Territories and thought it would be interesting to spend some time finding out about the traditional culture of the area. We were fortunate to have Manuel to ourselves and had a lot of fun and laughs with him. I was amazed how seriously we all... More

We (2 adults and 2 young boys) loved our time with Manuel, listening to his stories and learning from him. My wife & I were surprised at how much we enjoyed the traditional painting, which of course the kids loved. The fire lighting and spear throwing was also great fun for the kids - and a challenge for the adults!... More

I spent the morning with my two boys (11 and 14yo) listening to Manuel's stories, painting, starting a fire and spear throwing. Boys loved it! Genuinely warm hosts and enjoyable introduction to "country". A very welcome experience that kids can enjoy.
