Hot. Hot. Hot. Artwork prices varied from one day to next day. Not a pleasant experience. Not recommended.

Firstly we were not open in November. We closed 31st October. The weather is something we have no control over and at the end of 2014 we did experience hotter weather. It is the first time in 36 years we have ever known the Katherine Gorge to only be able to boat down the first gorge and not the second... More

I enjoyed making my own art. I did not like sitting in a tin shed in the heat with nothing to cool us. But overall I enjoyed the experience one I had some water

Glad you enjoyed doing your first Rarrk painting. The weather is something we have no control over and at the end of 2014 we did experience hotter weather than usual. The structure where the tour takes place has no walls but does have a tin roof fitted with ceiling fans, surround by lawn on one side and bush garden on... More

I painted in the art class with Manuel 's help and learned how to light a fire better than Bear Gryllis.also how to throw a spear. I enjoyed my time there as they also were baby wallabies you could get close to and pat. Is not for elderly people as it was very hot when I visited, 40 degrees in... More

Glad to hear you enjoyed the cultural experience and getting close and personal with our wallabies. October is our hottest month and 2014 did seem to be hotter than usual. Maybe due to global warming!!! We do get seniors do the cultural experience and they really have a great time but they do come in the cooler months. Most of... More

This is a fantastic place if you want somewhere to take the kids, or if you are travelling with friends from overseas. Here you will learn everything indigenous - from a local aboriginal man. He'll welcome you with his didgeredoo, tell you about his people, his culture, his language and then he'll teach you how to paint. You'll also learn... More

We are all very happy at Top Didj to hear that you really enjoyed your time with us. Unfortunately 2014 has been our hottest year so far and possibley want be our last. Because of this we have looked into getting two small water fans and putting sprinklers on the roof and should have one or both of these ideas... More

Unfortunately we did not have time to do the Cultural Experience but we enjoyed the shop and especially the joey "Bones". Some lovely pieces in the gallery and gift items. Well worth stopping in to enjoy.

We were unfortunate not to do the activities, it must have been fun. But the owners are taking good care of the orphaned wallaby joeys and that was great to experience holding the joeys.

We arrived a little early and were welcomed by Alex who introduced the children to a couple of Joeys he was caring for whilst we browsed the impressive gallery. We then spent a wonderful 3 hours with Manual from the Dalabon tribe who shared a great number of stories whilst we enjoyed the hands on experiences. A great way to... More

If are looking to get an experience of what life was like and might still be in some areas of the outback for the indigenous people, then Top Didj is great. Everyone at Top Didj does a great job. From learning how to paint, throwing a spear and lighting a fire with sticks, it's hard to find another experience that... More

I really wanted to learn more about Aboriginal culture and their lives and also for my children (7,5,3 year olds) to experience this too. Our day with Manual was truly enriching, we learnt about his life and his people's ways. He was a fantastic story teller and brought his teachings to life. We learnt how to paint, how to start...
