The Bungle Bungles are close to the border of WA and NT. We took a Kimberley Wild four day tour from Broome via Fitzroy Crossing (Geike Gorge river cruise) and Halls Creek (Walls of China). It takes 3 hours on dirt road to cover the final 50+ kms from the highway - though the scenery is spectacular (kangaroos, water, mountains).... more
