At first, its all nature and beauty, and it is,,,,, but be careful, as was pointed out to me,,.... if they think you ask for something that they dont think you should ask for.... like maybe vegetables with your fish and chips dinner, (now who would expect that !!!!), or maybe voice an opinion other than that "what anyone else... A true Australian experience. Everything we saw was interesting and true to the Top End. It is a MUST do when visiting Darwin.

Having previously spent a few weeks living in Oenpelli I decided to book onto this trip with my partner so he could experience the beauty of Arhemland and learn more about the aboroginal culture and community. Lord Safari's did not disappoint! The tour guide was friendly, knowledgable and accommodating - picking us up from Darwin and dropping us back afterwards.... More

Sab Lord took care of myself and my husband from the time he picked us up in Darwin to the time we were dropped back at the airport - 4 days. He has a very comfortable 4WD and amazing knowledge of the area and the wildlife. We chose to stay at Bamarru Plains Camp where he took us over the... More

As soon as the bus was 5 mins late, Katrina at the Lakeview cabin park was dealing with our problem. She was so good, but even getting the local firm to realise that we had paid a month before hand, they would not come out and pick the five of us up, even though it was still early morning Friday.... There are two companies running day tours to Arnhemland - As we have no record of this occurring (and I would know as I am the owner), if you could please send me an email with your booking details , i.e. name and date booked , I can establish if you were indeed booked with us. I doubt it as... More

Our two day trip with Lord's Safaris was absolutely marvellous. To see the beautiful land, to meet the people and all with a guide who was knowledgeable was an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives. My 75 year old father, 17 year old son, 16 year old student from overseas, and husband all haven't stopped talking... More

Excellent day trip with an aboriginal guide who will give you a much greater insight into traditional and modern day aboriginal values, with a good hike/ rock scramble to see some brilliantly preserved rock art. Lunch was fab - the food a cut above the standard day trip picnics and the setting nothing short of amazing The older kids in... More

Our guide was so informative and a pleasure to be with. The aboriginal community and their guide was also good. But the best part was the hike to look at the art and the crossing back at Cahills crossing and the crocs. Another tick off the bucket list. Wonderful day. Thanks

We were picked up by the bubbly, friendly and very professional Tanya at 8.30am from our hotel in Jabiru, in a mini-bus full of adventurers from around the world, ready for a great day out in Arnhem Land. We were not disappointed. It was a great day! We crossed into Arnhem Land (you need a special permit to enter -... More

This is a fantastic way to get a better understanding of traditional values and culture. A very full day with a seemingly endless number of rock paintings to discover. Our indigenous guide Thommo was marvelous. He knew so much, and was able to explain things with a sometimes wry sense of humor. Lunch, while simple, was delicious, and the location... More
