Petra picked us up before dawn for our three hour drive from Darwin to Arnhem Land. This was one of our most memorable accomplishments in our three week tour of Australia. The drive was comfortable and we especially enjoyed the small group. We went on a tour of Kakadu with AAT Kings the day before and the large group forced... More

Our day tour was the meat in the sandwich of a three day trip to Kakadu National Park. Guided tours are the only way to visit Arnhemland. You go on a 4 wheel drive vehicle via Cahill's Crossing of the East Alligator River. Our knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide Doug showed us plenty of rock art together with a visit to... More

We had been looking forward to this part of our Australian Adventure and Arnhemland did not disappoint! Aaron our tour guide was very informative and prepared us well for what we were about to experience. Tommo, our Aboriginal guide made the experience 'magical' telling us the stories of the indigenous people who once lived here and interpreting the beautiful rock... More

We went in 40 degree heat with Roland as our Aboriginal guide of the rock art. He had an infectious love of his people and their way of life. I learnt many things about the Arnhem land people and discovered a living art that is extremely vibrant. On our descent back to the bus Aaron greeted us with cold towels,... More

You can only do Arnhem Land by 4 x 4 and if you want it done for you I can not imagine that there are many better than Arnhemlander. They came as part of a 3 day package I did and I was impressed with everything: the truck ( it's a boy thing), the driver/guide, the other contractors used like... More

Thank you to all those involved making these tours as magical as they are. Aaron from Lords was a great guide with plenty of information about Kakadu and Arnhem Land. Our indigenous guide, Tommo, provided us with a great insight into the stories being told within the rock art of Injalak Hill. There were so many amazing sights seen during... More

We had the 1 day Arnhem Land tour with Lords as part of a 5-day trip to the Top End. We are very glad our tour company set this up with Lords! It was an outstanding day. Petra was a great driver and guide, and Tommo was an excellent guide to the rock paintings and aboriginal culture. It was a... More

Thank you Petra and Lords for a fantastic day out. We really appreciated the great attention to looking after guests. Our Aboriginal Guide Tommo was excellent and provided a very special day learning about local culture and customs and the best rock art we've seen. The Injalaka Arts Centre is a great cooperative and well worth spending time there -... More

Fantastic day out in Arnhemland. The history and culture of the area is fascinating. The art and views were breathtaking. Very well organised with a well earned lunch high up on the top of the hill. Two great guides. Wildlife.

We had a great time, Aaron was our guide along with Roland. The drive was fine, the art centre worth the visit, the trek up the hill was ok too, even paced and even though it was hot it was not rushed. The rock art was like gold. Very much a highlight of the trip for me. If you want... More
