Went out for an afternoon of wine tasting at various vineyards around Hawkes Bay. The wine at this place did not disappoint. I even enjoyed their Chardonnay which I don't usually. The let down was the so called platter for $32. Ridiculously over priced and the food on the platter was pretty average. The decent parts were the very small... More

Me and my sister came out on a grab one deal - and we had a totally enjoyable experience. I emerged a member of the wine club and with a box of wine. It was delicious.

We stopped here on a wine tour, one of 4, this was by far the best. Tim was very informative and passionate about the place and the wine they made, it is a shame they do not export to the UK yet.

Stopped here for lunch. We loved the cheese platters. No hard sell on the wine just friendly owners who like people and produce fantastic wine. I would recommend you stop here, enjoy their food and take away a bottle. The Ploughmans Lunch with home made chutney was lovely.

First time here. We were seated outside for the wine tasting. The man serving us was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. As someone else commented, it's unpretentious and relaxed. The chardonnay was my favorite wine.

We were cycling around the wineries and this was a perfect spot for lunch and a glass of wine. Its unpretentious and very friendly. We had a platter each (Dukka dip and tapas plate). Both delicious and well priced @ $16 each. Topped off with a glass of the local vino this was just a really nice lunch.

This winery was an impulsive stop on our way up from Wellington and am so glad it was. We were looking for a coffee but ended up sampling the wine too. Great atmosphere, friendly people, and good wine. We sat outside and tasted the wine and chatted with the winemaker and his family who run the cellar door. We found... More

Nice day out visiting various wineries, decided to have lunch at this one as the previous couple visited were not open for lunch. Tastings $3 per head which was not too bad, the lady had pretty good knowledge despite being her first day, but would have been nice if all the staff had the same uniforms or dress code, did... More
