Helen led us on an unforgettable trek through a small part of the Abel Tasman National Park. The park itself is breathtaking in its beauty. Helen was fantastic - well prepared and passionate about the park. She seems to have a enviable relationship with nature that rubs off on you. We were told a lot about the history and the... More

Wonderful day trip climbing Mt Lodestone with Helen Walker. Day was very well organised at pace to suit me, and provided an excellent day out with fabulous views. Helen gave a good insight into local geography and was very informative. Her enthusiasm and integrity made this a memorable occasion. Many thanks.

I have just completed a 5 month travelling trip - my 'hiking adventure' in New Zealand was the highlight. Firstly - the scenery was just incredible. The south island of NZ is stunning. Secondly - what a sense of achievement that you see the landscape by hiking through it and not from the window of a bus - just so... More

Helen is absolutely wonderful!! She makes you feel so comfortable and welcome. She knows absolutely everything you could possibly imagine about Able Tasman and New Zealand... A walking encyclopedia. Not only is she informative but she's also super passionate which makes a world of difference in ones experience. I never felt as if I was imposing when I would ask... More

We were picked up from our hotel by our very able and knowledgable guide and driven to the entrance to the Park. There we boarded a water taxi where we travelled up the coast to our full day trek start. On the way our guide made a quick change of plan so that we saw blue penguins and fur seals... More

Great day (Bark Bay to Anchorage). Beautiful weather, inspiring scenery and a guide (Helen) who really knows her stuff about nature in New Zealand. We really enjoyed the trip; boat ride, exercise (badly needed), yummy lunch in beautiful, idyllic Torrent Bay. Highly recommend the trip with Helen from Wild Footprints for a great nature experience.

My sister and I had a fabulous girls day out with Helen. Walked from Bark Bay to Anchorage. Starting with an exhilarating boat ride with Aquataxis and then a cup of tea at Bark Bay, the day continued to live up to its promise. We learned a lot about Abel Tasman National Park and the birds and plants that live... More

I recently had a fantastic day out with Helen (Wild Footprints operator and guide) - she was so enthusiastic and passionate about the New Zealand environment - from the trees to the birds and all things in between! "H" had an incredible knowledge and obvious love of the "great outdoors of New Zealand". Can't wait for my next Kiwi adventure... More
