One of the top attractions we planned to see was this place. Came highly recommended and judging by the crowds of people wanting to get it other thought so too. Apparently it has moved into this new building recently after being sited near to Experimentium to the North of the city and clearly they have taken advantage to have a... More

If you've seen one of the great aquariums, this one will not make your list. All the design went into the exterior. The interior spaces are dark and cramped. The displays are adequate but not exciting. The rain forest area is small but the best. The whole thing is pricey. Plan before you go and buy your tickets online, otherwise... More

The striking exterior design gives way to a disappointing interior. From the cramped round entrance lobby to the dark narrow exhibition hallways, this aquarium does not hold up against the other aquariums around the world. We'd expected more from a new, state-of-the-art facility designed by great architects. The tanks are nice enough, fish plentiful enough, biodiversity of exhibits good enough.... More

We wanted to go to see the blue planet today. Arriving there in the morning left an unpleasant surprise. The waiting queue was expected 1.5 hours. Without any shade or protection people had to wait in the bare sun to get inside. Disappointedly we (family w/ two kids) left the queue to get back to town. It was a learning... More

Experience was similar to other reviews. Aquarium was way too crowded - can't believe they don't limit crowds. Not only a safety concern but also means you can't see any of the fish! Nice building however feels like the accessability hasnt been properly thought through. Perhaps crowds will reduce once the novelty factor wears off as it is a recently... More

It was our last day in CPH and since we had the CPH card, we thought it was a good idea to visit the Planet blue . We saw several aquariums in the world and there is usually one thing exceptional to see. Well, not in this one. There is nothing to write to your mother We took the metro... More

The aquarium was decent and there is quite a lot to see from all around world. It was very crowded, and I got the feeling that the whole place could have been better planned. It feeled a bit like a maze to walk around and trying to see everything you wanted.

Visited the aquarium in June 2013 quite easy to find from the metro station about a 6-8 minute walk. The design from the outside is spectacular but very cramped inside. It was very crowded and not much space anywhere to walk round. Long queues for the toilets and forget the cafeteria no seats available and it was very packed indeed... More

Newly opened, decent aquarium. Nothing overly new for those who have been to other large scale aquariums but still an enjoyable few hours spent wandering around. Very crowded (super popular with families) which can be overwhelming but have patience as all attractions are worth a look. More information for each exhibit would have been welcome as there were only small... More
