Enjoyed the long walk along the Esplanade, leading to Torquay, with a couple of good cafes! Very clean, family friendly, calm relaxing environment.

Recently on a weekend trip to Hervey Bay, we stayed at the Scarness Beachfront Caravan Park which is right on the esplanade. We took a walk up and the down this coastal strip to find a nice place to eat. There are many options. Additionally, there are numerous parks where you can sit under large shady trees.

The walking/bike track is great to jog along the Esplanade. Jogged in the morning and was fantastic to look at the beach. there were a few people in the early morning but plenty of room to move on the esplanade.

A long, safe track - admittedly shared with pedestrians - which goes for 14kms along the northern facing shore of Hervey Bay and for the vast majority is in shade. Toilets are dotted along its length, with plenty of seats for a rests between peddling and food spots in Hervey Bay. A must do for you crazy peddlers.

Lovely long flat place to stroll, particularly with a pram. Beautiful on dusk, many places to eat along the way.

Plenty of variety of shops. Great night spots for dinner and live music. Markets on a weekend on the foreshore. An awesome Ice creamery too!

The path around the bay gives you some magic views of a beautiful bay. We were too early for whales but it is a lovely walk anyway. The paths are very level and we'll maintained for easy walking and you can walk for kilometres. The pier is a popular fishing spot for locals but started repairs when we left. No... More
